If you order Season 2 of the Simpsons, you supposedly get a Krusty the Klown keychain. Of course I find this out after I place my order and not knowing if I need to use a special code at deepdiscountdvd or anything...

Also, deepdicountdvd.com has a deal for both seasons of the simpsons for something like $40 or $50 I think. I'm not sure if that's cheaper than you can get using the FOXHOME deal...

I went to Wally World and the Widescreens LOTR were sold out, and it was too late to go buy it at Best Buy for $15.99. I went to Kmart and saw the Widescreen Version there, but for $22.00. I asked the guy why their prices were so high compared to Best Buy. He laughingly said, "Well, it's supply and demand We will supply it if you really want it that bad." I saw that this guy thought that he had me, so I jiggled the bait in front of his eyes...just for kicks. I told him...I really wanted to get it, and the Best Buy next door had it for only $16.00 and I didn't really want to pay $22 for it. He said "Well, then you'll probably have to wait for the morning, and at that price, there is no guarantee that there will be any left. You might as well get it here." I agreed with him, that I would get it then and there, and he kind of grinned that "I won" grin...until I pulled out the ad for Best Buy and asked about their price match guarantee...His next words were over the intercom..."I need a manager to electronics" For some reason he wasn't smiling anymore. :D

Why don't you guys just wait for the 4 disc set coming out in November? It has 30 minutes of extra footage that makes the rating an R as opposed to PG 13.

I can't wait for that.

Because it's $50 - plus, who wants to wait when you can have both? :D

Amen! I'll worry about buying the big edition when the time comes..
Hell, for that matter...why don't we wait till after the "Return of the King" comes out and just buy the Collectors Edition box set? Cause I don't want to wait that long...I didn't see the movie when it was in the theaters and wanted to see it ASAP...

BTW, I gotta admit, I'm actually a little disappointed they deviated from the books like they did...Still was a great movie..but I found myself fillin in the parts they left out or just plain ole changed.. I guess that's what I get for reading the books so many times over the years.:)
