Jonny Mac was so funny in his eviction interview. What a dork. Vanessa has gone crying again.... Good strategy by Jonny Mac to undermine Steve and the Twins, but just had no traction to save himself. He never really played the game to win though, just to survive. So I hope that Shelli can get back in as at least she plays. Lol at Austin's nomination ceremony sppech. He went cerebral and then half way thru he went crazy. Hilarious. The main target should be the Austin Angels. If they don't go at them now everyone loses. Seems like most of the girls have two faces in this game. Sometimes look hot, and other times kind of ugly. The twins and becky being good examples. Meg has a great face, but the body not quite as good. Still rooting for Meg though.
finally caught up. when i saw that this thread wasn't bumped after the double eviction night, i knew that episode was going to be Meg followed by John or James... hopefully now that we're down to 6 we get some big moves. Steve with a good start. couldn't help but laugh at Liz crying and leaving the nomination ceremony after an entire summer of running the house
Big Brother has to get back to casting despicable people. Even if the game play is awful at least it will be intriguing to watch.. There has been no real conflict this season.
Seems like the Vanessa is in an advantageous/strong position right now, and crawled out of the hole she put herself in. She's on both sides of the house, they are doing the dirty work for her on the twins, and she's nobody's primary target anymore, so they all like her as a jury, and they all think she ran the house too which is good for the game play vote. Her only problem is she has not yet proven she can win a comp mentally or physically which she will need to do one or two more times.
she definitely needs to at least once. when it gets down to the final 3, she's probably the odd one out in any combo. that sigmund freud scene and austin's reactions was one of the funniest scenes i've ever seen on the show. and that dig by liz at the end of the show ("me and my sister were nothing but nice to steve and did our best to make him feel like he's not such a socially awkward nerd")...ouch. that made me cringe and feel for the guy. was like watching ronda rousey snap somebody's arm.
i'd more or less agree, but that's what's great...it's always an unknown what kind of season you're going to get. a year off of despicable humans will make you appreciate them more next season. that said, i've still enjoyed this season, as far as seasons with no conflict and likable castmates go.
Vanessa completely screwed the Aus twins chances, then put the spin on so the blowback hurt Austin, not her. Julia is an idiot for listening to her. Hell they're all idiots for not getting rid of Vanessa earlier.
Last night was the first compelling show in weeks. Vanessa is running the house. Don't like her, but wouldn't be surprised if she wins the whole thing.
There was real drama there. It was Shakespearean at it's heart. The ugly beast having one over the beautiful princess with his charm, learns his true love has a secret twin, with whom he has been interacting all along. The evil twin sister, however, mistrusts the ugly beast and his intentions with the princess, convinces the bride to be that they must protect themselves and the crown with a secret alliance to a devious spy. The Spy, with her own thoughts of gaining the crown, spies on the ugly beast, befriends the creature, and convinces the ugly thing to betray the evil sister with an agreement to kill her off, thus leaving the beast with him alone with his true love and the crown. The spy, now having gotten the beast to betray his true love's twin sister with this agreement, and additionally having convinced the evil sister to betray the beast, openly advises the princess to betray the beast at put him to the stake. Oh my. An act that will now send the beast directly to the guillotine. She does this successfully. The beast now openly betrayed by his true love, erupts violently calling itself Judas, saves its' own life with his strength, but in doing so the people now want someone on the guillotine in his stead, and thus the princess is now put to death. The beast is emotionally distrsaught realizing it has been misguided. However, still fearing for his own livelihood the ugly beast decided to maintain his agreement with the spy, even if bitterly so because of what she did to him openly, but does so to further his material gain of the crown. The princess now headed to the guillotine denies the ugly beast his love and remains ever loyal to her evil twin. Crestfallen, the ugly beast now must consider what to do next. Meanwhile the spy slithers in the background with two court jesters, plotting the demise of the beast, and seeking the crown herself. The two courts jesters watch all from afar, with their own eyes on something wicked this way to come.
I've been pretty critical of this season, but I have to agree. Definitely the best episode of the season until Liz made up with Austin immediately after the commercial break.. Oh well, I was finally entertained. Vanessa deserves to win all the money... give her second place money and Fan favorite too.
Vanessa putting Julia under the gun and flustering her into picking Austin... and than somehow turning it around and making Austin look like the bad guy with no blowback on herself... pure ****ing genius. Give her the money now. I want to like Vanessa, I really do. And if she were to say that her emotional outbursts are nothing but game play - I'd love her... but I have nothing to tell me otherwise and when she goes on the defensive and starts crying when anyone calls her out (like James last week) - that drives me up a wall. I can't root for that crap. I like the even-keel of a Derrick or Dan. But she's got these bozos wrapped around her finger.
She won't win. Austin is right, she won't get the jury votes. I'm rooting for Johnny Mac. I cannot stand Steve..
Vanessa looks cute in the pics I have seen but on the show she looks like a train wreck. Austin getting sent packing was good, I hope Johnny Mac wins, he got booted then came back and has actually won Veto Comps
Her emotional outbursts are exactly what make her unlikable to me. I don't think she's all that good of a game players, as much as I think the others are that bad. At this point though, no one in the house even deserves the money BUT Vanessa.
