dan wont win. i think that he should have kept shane around. ian and danielle are both easy to vote for over shane. if it is shane vs dan at the end, i think dan wins. dan was trying to ensure that he gets to the final two which is his downfall.
Dan will win if he's against Danielle. Mark it down. Taking Danielle to the end negates a lot of the "bitter" factor from folks like Frank because she was involved in almost all of Dan's manipulations (the one exception being last night). If you notice, Frank always says "Dan and Danielle lied to me". They're lumped together. And Britney undoubtedly knows by now that Danielle was acting the entire time during her eviction week and knew what was happening. If it's Dan and Danielle, it'll be much like the Evel Dick/Daniele finale from several years ago. Many in the jury won't be able to stand either of them, but when push comes to shove, they'll pick the leader over the follower. Dan knows this, and that's why his whole focus is on not just making it to the end, but making it to the end with her. That's why evicting Shane before F3 was so critical - it locks in his F2 deal with the one person he can almost assuredly beat.
Dan couldn't keep shane around. You need to keep players you can sway and taking a couple with you is a horrible idea, especially if you're better than either of them. The difference between dick and dan is that dan is viewed as deceitful, while dick was always who he was. I think that's going to play a role because ,although they all lied in some way, Dan is seen as this mastermind who's really good at getting people to do what they normally wouldn't. A bitter jury could give the prize to the other person, regardless of who it is, because they're all seen as good innocent people who dan "played".
Possibly. Though the one person who's beaten that drum loudest this year (let's not give him $500K again!) has been Britney, and she seemed pretty pro-Dan from the jury house footage last night. If it's close, I think that could play a role... which is why I think Ian probably beats Dan. I don't think it'd be close with Danielle. My guess is she'd get Shane and no one else. They also couldn't stand Dick personally, while everyone (except maybe Frank) genuinely thinks Dan is a good guy in real life, which he is. I think those factors offset. It's certainly possible that they give the prize to the other person, no matter what, but my guess is it needs to be more of a contrast in styles for that to happen. Could be with Ian, but I don't see it with Danielle.
friendly wager that Frank does not vote for Dan? maybe a sig bet or something? hope you are right, but it seems that he's too stubborn to even consider relinquishing his bitterness and spite.
I'm down for a friendly sig bet as long as it's conditional on it being Danielle vs. Dan. I do think Frank's bitterness/stubbornness would lead to him voting for Ian if he makes it.
deal. any ideas? maybe something really nerdy outing our guilty pleasure for such trash tv like "I go bananas for Big Brother on CBS" or something of that sort? length of time?
Predictions? I think Ian has the favorite player award wrapped up. I want Dan to win, but think Ian pulls it out, with Dan coming in second. I don't think Danielle can win this HOH and Ian will outlast Dan. Ian is too into the game to go the easy route. "To be the best gotta beat the best"
If Dan makes final two he wins by a landslide. Played an amazing game. If Dan is cut, Ian. Danielle is a waste of space. I think Frank gets America's Choice. He was fun, played his heart out and lasted longer than he should have.
I think Ian wins favorite player IF he's eligible. In the past, it's been reserved for non-finalists. If that's the case, I think Britney is slight favorite... followed closely by Shane and Frank. I think it's 50/50 between Ian and Dan, if that's the final. The reason being - Ian has more likely votes, but Dan has more for sure votes. What I mean by that, I think it's a 100% lock that Jenn and Danielle vote for Dan (over Ian), and nothing could change that. I think Britney, Shane and Frank are likely to vote for Ian... but none are 100%. All are slightly open. Jenn and Danielle would only need to flip two people, and if they're insistent, they could. If I had to pick, I'd say Ian wins... only because the advantage of having the juror last cut (Danielle) in your pocket is somewhat mitigated now that they're taken to finale night and she'll only have a couple of commercial breaks (5 minutes?) to try and work people. If this were an old school BB finale, with Danielle going to the jury house for a few days... I think Dan would crush Ian. If it's Dan and Danielle, I still think Dan wins easily. Not enough of a contrast in personalities/styles to offset his superior game play.
shane voting against dan is the most guaranteed vote of the night. would happily give you odds on 1 month sig vs 1 week sig on that to give us some sig bet action no matter the finalist pairing.
If Danielle were in jury for a few days... I'd so take you up on that. He's weak and will do whatever she says. But with her only having five or 10 minutes, I'm not gonna bet on it.
Damn, was expecting Dan to win but Ian deserved it a little more IMO. And damn again cuz Janelle and Danielle both got some nice cakes. Filling out those dresses like nothing.
Ian's final speech was money. It blew dan's speech out of the water when he said that Dan played with 3 lives and had to cut two loose. #goaheadbigian Now maybe he'll get laid by ashley. She's like the wind when it comes to men.
i'd guess that, in the history of big brother/survivor, the final speeches have never changed a single vote.
After this jury, people are going to be TERRIFIED to make risky moves ever again. No one is going to be willing to stick their neck out and assume the jury will understand it's a game and reward gameplay. Group vote after group vote, Brigade after Brigade. The real problem is that BB continually casts morons like Shane, Ashley and Jenn that have never even watched the show. They don't understand the game or what goes into it. They don't even care. BB just looks for people to fill a role (gay chick with tattoos, hot metro guy with a tan, etc.) and what makes it most diverse and interesting for the casual viewer. That's their right, but for a gamer like me, it takes the fun out of it. And none of this mentions that the odds of Frank actually winning AC are about 0.0000001%. He was the producers' favorite all year, dating back to the unprecedented act of cancelling an eviction with zero warning just to keep him in the game. But the producers like him and undoubtedly want him back, so...
