Because you HAVE to be black to find a statement like that offensive.

That is EXACTLY what's wrong with the world.

"If it don't have sh** to do with me, why tf should I care" perfect train of mind buddy.

Oh like AJ Bouye the street free agent? Give me a break, certain players owe everything to key scouts or FOs and there is nothing wrong with admitting that.

Some players want to take the Texans logo off of the helmet on Sunday. Some don't want their names on the jerseys.

I've been insulted before so I know how it feels. With months of therapy I got over it. I also don't watch any of those networks.

Its about having control of your own franchise that you purchased for millions of dollars. Its about reigning in something thats effecting your business that was externally caused.

I think only Bob McNair can answer that question. My personal beliefs are that he is a good man, a cancer survivor, a guy who donated a MILLION dollars to Harvey residents(Black, White, Brown, etc people were effected), loyalty to Rick Smith through the 2-14 years, donations to equal rights groups. Bob McNairs actions suggest he isn't a racist. I will judge him based off his actions.

I learned in high-school when my girlfriend was Banging Other guys behind my back that actions speak louder than words. I learned early, and I assume many others have as well.

most players owe everything to thier natural talent and hard work they put in themselves.

no scouts or FO's are in the gym with them.

This is a common idiom used by people in a supervisory capacity. I've heard it used to describe employees, soldiers, even teachers. McNair was implying that the players don't know what's best for the league because they are labor and not management/ownership - he may or may not be right, but that's beside the point.

Throwing hissy fits over a turn of a phrase is part of what's wrong with this country. Duane Brown could have effected much more social change by donating one of the game checks that he wilfully skipped to the ACLU. It's a cheap and easy thing to complain to the media. Be the change you want to see in the world.

This is true and it sucks but I'd love to see this current iteration of the NFL go away and this helps add gasoline to the current bonfire. If there was ever a time for an XFL type of competitor to arise it's now. NFL is trending down toward death and the pace is accelerating. Meanwhile basketball and soccer are growing like crazy. I love it. I love when people lose their center and their feet and literally undermine themselves. We are witnessing that now and it's glorious.

Honestly not really a good response to tweets about players, gm, and bob talking their feelings and emotions about a race controversy lol

So I've heard. Great for me as a 2nd generation American that I've built a business from nothing and have so many options.

Why do u think a competitor is going to change anything? You are still going to have the majority that are black players. The reason the NBA is not having this problem is that the league and the owners are responsive to the players......The players are not afraid to speak their mind, so there is no need to kneel for the anthem. Soccer is growing....but it is still behind Hockey in pro sports in the US. Hate to tell you.......

It was a poor choice of words. That was all. He apologized so lets move on but no, the oppressed millionaires have to throw their daily tantrum because they were told that they're victims. Like I said before, let the game die. These players don't deserve a penny.
