Wow...with that long of a tirade, it makes you actually sound like you know what you're talking about.

Everyone knows if you feed a big man, he'll work for you. Obviously this didn't happen, so his #s are down across the board. Not because he physically couldn't do it, but because he lacked the heart to--if you really watched the Pistons game(s) you would know that.

Dumars got Flip not specifically for his offense, but because he was one of the few available good coaches on the market at the time. During the year, the Pistons' defense was statistically similar to prior years, however the actual complexion of it was quite different. Look, if you don't know something it's okay, just keep your mouth shut and everything will be fine. Don't go whipping stuff out of your a$$ about "ratcheting the defense up come playoff time."

Again, don't try to sound smart when you're just plain ignorant. But let me enlighten you: the reason why the Pistons lost this year's ECF is NOT because of their defense. It's because of their poor OFFENSE.

Realistically, I don't believe it was Bens idea to ask for that much. More likely than not, it's his agent who's putting the number out there to test the waters and put pressure on Dumars. The team that would pay the most for Ben would still be the Pistons. The Pistons is the only team that would utilize all his skills---any other team would just treat him as a specialist.

    Holy Cow!
Are you really prepared to give up so much? After all, Ben Wallace is only just a 4 time Defensive Player of the Year. Personally, I'd prefer to hold onto Swift for now but move him later for the type of players the Rockets really need. Kobe and LBJ come to mind, for instance, but only if they agree to play within our system... :)
