Yeah it's just frustrating to turn finally turn 21 and then be told I have to wait another 4 years to get into a certain club.
Fail by me I meant to post this link. http://www.myspace.com/292473416 Saw on another board that this is the girl that accused him of rape. Not the same chick posted in the thread earlier so I'm not sure.
Ben is the perfect example of why you don't want to see or know professional athletes outside of the competitive arena. Ben summarized: he's a complete dick in general and a total sleazeball with women. That said, I highly doubt anything that took place wasn't consensual. He may be guilty of poor judgment, but much like the first incident his exercises in poor judgment don't necessarily mean any laws were broken. It all boils down to him needing to be smarter with women. This is the second time his name has been smeared with sexual assault allegations which means he's an EASY target for a third now that he has a reputation for it. I mean, you're Ben fricken Roethlisberger. How hard is it to show up at the Playboy Mansion, find some *10* bombshell, marry her then be done with all this slumming around with 5-7 women stuff?
Yeah sorry but have to disagree. My friends wife was an Houston Oiler Derrick Doll and feared for her life on more than one occasion. There were two players in peticular that cornered her more than once, if it wasn't for others coming around who knows what would have happened. Not saying he did it, but don't think it can't happen. The two oiler players everyone knows, that's as much as I'll say on that. Very disappointing for a team I loved so much. Point is it's possible whether or not women are throwing themselves at them
He's a smart guy. He'll kiss babies, shake hands, make appearances and do all the right things while the camera is rolling but when it's not he's completely different. Hell, I'm sure that's how most professional athletes are anyway. It doesn't mean he's a bad person, we just need to not be ridiculous with this "American hero" talk.
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...e-pittsburgh-sportscaster-unloads-on-big-ben/ Never knew Roethlisberger was such a big d-bag
Haha...I've been saying this for years. Like I mentioned earlier, he's the perfect example of why you don't want to see or know professional athletes outside of the competitive arena. Unless they're doing positive things like Deke, Dream and others have been notorious for -- I don't want to hear about it! Regardless, he's still one of my favorite players and I'll definitely withhold judgment until all the facts are present. I was skeptical the first time one of these dubious accusations were made and I feel the same regarding this one too. In any event, I just have to remember to store all this d-bag info I've read and experienced first hand in the back of my mind. P.S. In all fairness, John Steigerwald AKA the Pittsburgh sports journalist mentioned here that you've never heard of, seems to have selective memory here. That or he's only using examples that support his theory that Ben is a "bad citizen". Ben is widely known around these parts for doing all the right things as a superstar athlete. He has his own charity, runs a football camp for mentally challenged youths, did the Make-A-Wish thing before successfully, etc. We're not talking about some walking degenerate here. Well, maybe if your plan is to try to date him but I'd venture to say about 99.9% of this board (including myself after wins) doesn't plan on trying to do that.
