Big Baby is all that great. I would love to get Amar'e instead, but how about Paul Millsap? The dude is a monster and for a PF he plays bigger than his position.

If Big Baby actually steals an MLE from a team, it only reaffirms how huge a mistake it was not to nab Gortat when we had the chance.

i played against him at u of h , his jumper sucks and he fell and busted his @$$ trying to drive inside. He is crazy strong though and takes up a good space . He looks fat but its actually all muscle. Hes working on his mid range jumpshot but he needs work.

    There's a blunt way to say what I was thinking...but I agree. I'm tired of semi-centers, short-centers, PF-centers, I want a center-center, a tall center.

Although, Big Baby is better than nothing I guess...just not worth what it would take to get him, probably.

    Oh please God no.

That would be a terrible signing for us. Big Baby as center? I'll take Thomas "2 sandwiches" Hamilton before BB.

    Or was it 3 sandwiches?

Yeah, looks like Spurs are really being aggressive this offseason. First Richardson, then Blair..now they are going after him

Had a couple of those... both got hurt, one retired and the other is in limbo. Tried to get another one before Cuban stole him.

Now we have only one hope:

I am not in favor of giving Big Baby huge money. He could go Carlos Lee and be just another guy in the Hot Plate Williams/Shawn Kemp mode and just eat his way out of the league fast. I saw him play twice against UH when he was in college and he was a non factor in both games. I know he has gotten his weight under control since but still there are a zillion 6'7-6'8 undersized power fowards out there. We have one already in Carl Landry.
