Call it whatever you want to call it, but it meant a bunch of really short drives that gave their defense less time to rest.

I dunno. It had 3 first round picks and a hot defensive coordinator who wouldn't lose a game for another year. I guess if you HAD to pick 2 I would agree, which well... I guess you do. But they deserve a shot more so than anyone including Utah this year.

Stoops' crappy treatment of his players is well documented. Grabbing guys helmets on the sideline, b****ing them out in from of cameras, etc. Plenty of Horns who were recruited by OU has commented on the lack of cohesiveness with the OU football program.

Meanwhile, whether you like the approach or not, Mack has installed a very nice sense of family at Texas. Recruits have regularly commented on feeling like a part of something. Football is a team sport, and that unity and chemistry is crucial to winning big games and not giving up.

Now, as far as Auburn goes, you're buying that same argument over "style" points. When was the last time you saw a team run the table in the SEC? I'll give you a hint...Florida didn't do it in '06 or '08, and LSU didn't in '07. That Auburn team was stacked with talent withi Jason Campbell, Cadillac Williams, Ronnie Brown, and Carlos Rogers. That Auburn D was stout and could shut down anybody, OU included.
