Texas getting outcoached. Nebraska up tight on receivers, double moves, and stop and goes, and deep balls over the top down the sidelines will be wide open. Also, screen passes..... But, a coach has to recognize what is going on. DD
True. Add to that the fact that Texas has been a second-half team all season, and it doesn't bode well for the Bugeaters.
For the first time... I'm agreeing with you on this DD. I think the offensive coordinator needs to recognize what to run against this D... I'm just surprised they weren't more prepared from looking at video.
As I mentioned, Nebraska is not a very good team in my opinion. The fact that UT-Austin is looking verrrry average compared to Nebraska makes me want that Bama-TCU matchup. ...and Colt for Heisman? pfft. uh, no.
this is definitely a game where pass interference only being 15 yards makes me happy. nebraska seems content to just run and throw deep passes. one interference on some horrible zach lee pass with no chance of being completed could get them 50 yards in the nfl but will basically just be a first down here and still make them have to earn a drive. but hopefully we just keep picking him off and he doesn't make a play.
screens maybe, but colt has not had time for double moves and deep routes b/c the o-line is just getting run over. and we suck as screens and have for a decade so unfortunately that's not a great solution either. we just never seem to have anything for an overly aggressive D, which is why ou ate our lunch in the early part of the decade.
Dana whatever her name is from ESPN is a real porker, and the winner had some serious snaggletooth going on...
