Biden has the experience over Obama. He has decades of building relationships throughout the government.

    HEll YES!

He is lapping Obama and has a chance to lap him again before he is done.

Obama was overly cautious, while Biden don't give a ****.

It's too difficult to compare them. Obamacare, to quote Biden, was a "big ****ing deal." It's now a normalized part of US life, but passing that bill basically killed Obama's ability to do anything else after the 2010 mid terms.

This is true, but he tried to make everybody happy with Obamacare and did not strong-arm anybody or totally ignore the Republicans.

He had a 60 seat majority he could have done anything he wanted with the mandate he had, now with that said it would have been a huge backlash, but he still had a backlash with the restraint he showed so might as well go big since he had an actual mandate.

This is not really a dig at Obama I totally understand why he did what he did but at some point he should have realized there was no building a consensus, right after he tried to pass a bill that previously a Republican idea.

    Student debt relief.

    mar1juana decrim.

    Conclusion of the afghan war.

    Infrastructure (at least in theory).

    Gay marriage.

These are all things owed almost exclusively to Joe freaking Biden.

This is part of why I held out hope for Joe, despite being on paper my least favorite Democrat, because he has this habit of just saying "**** it" and pushing things forward. Maybe it's his old age and he's past the point of giving a ****. I admire his earnestness.

this is quite fair. But the perception gap between Obama and Biden is laughable.

and this is hilarious because I’m not even a card carrying democrat or a Biden fan. I just see the scoreboard. Give me results and departure from the normalization of lies and stupidity.

    This isn't accurate.

Obama was sworn in January 2009. Al Franken, one of the "60 seat majority" didn't get seated in the Senate until July because of the fight over his seat. In April of that year, Arlen Specter switched parties. Ted Kennedy and Robert Byrd were sick and unavailable for votes for the majority of the year.

They finally had the 60 seats when Franken was seated in July and then Kennedy died in August. They got a 60 seat majority again in September when a democrat filled his seat and lost the 60th seat in January 2010 when Scott Brown was seated in that spot.

They barely ever had a 60 seat majority. I think in total they had 60 Democrats available for less than 4 months of the Obama presidency.

You seem to be cool with Presidents disregarding the law. Why do you have a problem with this one law that a vast majority of people want changed in the first place?
