Only problem i have with what Biden says is it's not true. Don't get me wrong I think Bush F'd it up from the beginning, however the exit plan was agreed upon way before the Pres Election. I will give Obama credit for not screwing it up though... now if he will do something to get Afghanistan to a state where we can start talking about withdrawl than I'll be happy.

The plan was developed before the change of Admin's but its the Obama Admin. that has implemented it.

if he can claim credit for winning in iraq then he can bloody well take credit for the recession.

The two aren't the same. Carrying out a policy is not the same thing as changing the policy in an attempt to fix the mistakes.

not going to go into any finger pointing here but the one thing I wish all our politicians would do is to just admit when they are wrong. When has a president or anyone in congress actually faced the American people and said "I made a mistake and I will learn from it" Why can't anyone own up to their mistakes? Did Bush make a lot of mistakes? Sure.. But so has Obama and none of them are man enough to own up to them. Instead they just want to finger point and blame someone else. It will be a breath of fresh air if someone actually owned up to something.

to answer my own question I think the only time one of our politicians have admitted to a mistake is when they get found out for hiring a hooker or having a affair or having a child while their wife is sick with cancer.

This seems like a preemptive bait-n-switch to me.

I'm still waiting for massive troop withdrawals.

Jimmy Carter admitted a major policy mistake while he was in office.

did he take credit for starting the mess, sorry war in Iraq. You and the rest of the wingers seem to mistake credit for "winning" instead of just credit for "cleaning".

The one reason why it might be hard for someone to own up to a mistake and they still generally believe it wasn't a mistake. This is Bush's case. Most people can agree now that the Iraq war might have been a mistake. However I honestly believe Bush thought and still thinks he did the right thing in keeping the country safe.

To get to your question Obama has made plenty of mistakes in my opinion. First off it's known that any true conservative wouldn't agree with his economic policies which will bankrupt this nation. I think only time will tell and this will soon be one of his biggest mistakes. His massive deficits and reckless spending programs really will come back to haunt us.

In the short term let's just start with his appointments and associations. He has appointed tax cheat after tax cheat. He has associated himself with extreme radicals like Wright, and Ayers. These are people who believe America should be damned, bombed or destroyed. Let's not forget about Anita Dunn who claims Mao, someone who killed 70 million people, is her favorite political philosopher. These are just a few there are others like Van Jones, Holder, Holdren, etc. He has never once owned up to any of these associations or appointments and apologized for his mistake. It really speaks volume on who you associate your self with. I would have respected Obama a bit more if you just simply came out and said he made a mistake associating himself with these folks and he does not share these views. He only did that when backed into a corner and had little choice to do so and even then he continues to surround himself with far left radicals.

Let's see some other mistakes I believe in his policy are his handling of the terrorism. From closing Gitmo to the terror trials in New York. I think even Obama realized that was a mistake and has since changed his mind. But he has never owned up to that mistake either.

Healthcare, is another area. Which I will admit he has owned up to his mistakes in this area during his state of the union address.

    basso respectfully

you do not get to start a war, **** it up for 4 years, set in motion one policy to clean up your escalation of **** up over the last year, have your war still be going on when you leave office, and claim victory for a war that hasn't ended still only because you cleaned the escalated **** up
