They are literally tied in the general election with about 20% of probable voters claiming they will vote for neither or have not made a decision. They are likely going to be very close from an actual support standpoint. The election is going to be won or lost in the Electoral College, and Biden is even or ahead in several key states but behind in others he needs like Pennsylvania. Honestly - if you look at the overall popularity number for both Biden and Trump they are abysmal. The electorate is not happy with the choices in 2024.
