Also as someone who has dealt with disasters this fire just happened a couple of days ago. FEMA aid does take some time. That $700 payments are being offered now is a pretty good sign. I don't recall FEMA payments like that being authorized this early for Hurricane Maria or Harvey. This recovery is still in it's early phases. If a month from now nothing more has been done I think there would be a good reason to criticize.
