When he won the nomination I was almost certain he would announce shortly after getting elected that he would not seek reelection.

Odds on that feel a lot weaker now, especially given who his successor is and her particular situation.

 

You always make this statement. Normal human almost always judge someone based on their own actions and how they compare to their peers. Comparing President to President is exactly normal and should be done.
