It appears that biden's strategy is to make lip service to a range of issues and then when the republicans push back, the dude effectively folds like a cheap umbrella. Which makes me believe that he wants credit for merely doing something which he knows that the republicans are going to contest and then you hear nothing more about it. Regardless how you feel about Biden's attempt to pause drilling of oil and gas on federal land, all it took was a trump appointed judge to strike down the injunction for Biden to basically say, "well, I tried." This not the first time he has done this, and his whole ruse about bipartisanship is wasting valuable time to get something done and who knows when he will make a half-ass attempt at student-loan debt. While he is arguing with Chuck Schumer and Elizabeth Warren on what he is "legally" able to do, he isn't in no hurry putting his plan in order. Biden is more concerned with saving face than getting things done.
I will consider a decent GOP candidate, but if it is Trump or Trump light again, I will vote for a rock first.
The American public doesn't give a **** about bidens personality or bidens incoherent rants at times either. Trump almost won re election with 500k dead folks because majority of Americans were better off economically. The only thing that matters to people is if their lives are better off. Say what you want but the guy is vastly different then Obama in every way -Obama was a big tech guy and loved being cozy with tech giants. Biden nominated the toughest tech critic in the world as ftc chair -Obama was scared to ever say a bad word about China as it would hurt wall street while Biden has done diff - Obama never even said the words unions while President while pretending to be a progressive leader. Biden is first president to stand up for unions and made that video for the union rally in Alabama -obama bend over backwards for pharmaceutical industry while Biden removed covid patents which has the industry PISSED -Biden passed a stimulus twice the size of Obama - Biden withdrew troops from Afghanistan something Bush trump and Obama all failed out I'm not a huge biden supporter pre election but the dude has done as good of a job as one can expect under the circumstances. Some of you guys live in an alter universe
I can totally relate to these feelings. I was really hoping we'd see more influence on policy and actual results from the progressive wing of the party. Very disappointed, not even slightly surprised. That said, I'm not going to equate someone who cut me off in traffic with those who would overthrow democracy. I don't think it'll matter that I can put on my big boy pants and vote D while holding my nose if nothing gets done in these two years. Status Quo is going to loose big if that's all D's have to show for themselves. The last election was a referendum on the most vile candidate I've ever seen and it was still pretty close.
What kind of joke is it? Is it like a @Carl Herrera joke? waiting for that punchline like Linus waiting for the Great Pumpkin
Well you need to understand how senate works instead of blaming biden. His call for capital gains to be taxed as ordinary income is literally the same thing as a wealth tax. The proposals he's put forward is the most progress agenda of anyone's lifetime. How is it his fault that manchin is extorting him out of things
What the hell do you think TPP was about? https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2016/12/america-china-relationship/ https://www.jacksonlewis.com/resour...orders-significant-impact-federal-contractors
