I agree this was a massive intelligence failure. It was obvious in real time as city after city fell To the Taliban as US forces pulled back. I think overall Biden has been good especially with getting legislation passed but he and his administration is not perfect and to me this was the lowest point of his presidency.
US allies dead in the dirt, worse off than when we started. This was not the way to get out. Worst president ever
Hence one of the few actually politically brave things Biden did. Whatever president pulled out would be accused of this but someone had to get us out of the quagmire. That and Lina Khan are some of the genuine good Biden did.
