I think Obama mucked up the decision - he should have picked Hillary. It was a big mistake and I said so at the time.

That being said, Biden is just defending Clinton, nothing more.

There was a reason why I supported HIllary Clinton after Richardson dropped out and I think this is one those statements where Biden lets his straight talk get the better of him. That said while I think Clinton was the most qualified to the be President I still don't think she would've made a good VP candidate for Obama. I don't think she would've deliberately undermined Obama but I think there would be a lot of lingering feelings among supporters that she should be heading the ticket.

Looks to me like a combination of humility and self-deprecating humor but it again raises the nagging question of why Obama didn't select Hillary to be his running mate...

How can he handle Putin if he can't handle Bill and Hillary?

    I beg to differ here...

I think Hillary would be the Nominee if the DNC hadn't roadblocked her momentum in FL and MI.

The DNC picked the whole ticket by the awkward choices they made.

    Or like your wife.

Rich is not a PUMA. He abandoned Hillary about five minutes after he voted for her and he did it here.

He's against everybody, no matter what. And he gets his kicks by posting every possible negative thing about anybody that generates enthusiasm.

He seems to have a special sort of hate on for Obama, but I expect that if McCain was popular here he'd be spending most of his time on him.

He's just one of those guys that loves tearing people down. And he's the sort that loves that kind of stuff so much that he doesn't bother with what's true or false, fair or foul.

Once you get that it's easier to just laugh off his posts in this forum.

Who said he was? How weird of you to quote me and then talk about something I didn't say at all. I voted for banning rocketsanalyist even though he was on my side ideologically. I never suggested banning RRNYC. Doesn't mean I can't make fun of him when he acts a fool.

Chhhhiillllllllllll..... it's really just a light-hearted "Lloyd Bentsen" reference.

Ok, that made me laugh out loud. Thanks! :D

Back on topic: am I the only one who noticed the word "might" in his sentence? He didn't say she was the better choice. He said she MIGHT have been the better choice. That's not the same thing. Shame on ABC News for the misleading headline.

He's referring to Joe Biden asking a Colorado state senator (i believe) in attendance at a town hall to stand up. The guy was in a wheel chair. When Biden realized that he asked everyone in the crowd to stand up for Chuck instead. He later apoligized saying something to the effect of "you can tell i'm new at this".

My point is Biden thinks Hillary is more fit to be President and Vice President than him. His own words.
