It actually was a borderline travel (three steps after the ball returned to his hand, although the first was just an instant after). But it sure as hell wasn't six, and was something you see every other possession in the NBA. The animation of KD going NBA Jam to catch that alley was pretty funny though.
Shaq flat out said he doesn't like Harden after he hit a game winner on the Kings and had an outstanding performance. He just said, he's a good player, but he doesn't like the guy. No reason was given. Just that he didn't like him. So yeah, I expect Barkley and Shaq to slander the Rockets and their players when given the opportunity.

I'm a Rockets fan. That means the most important thing to me is 3-3. While we are a mediocre team, Harden putting up Disney World numbers has no meaning to me. The haters can have free reign, and I won't defend anyone until the Rockets decide to start defending as well. Step away from the computer and look around you. There are better fights worth fighting out there.
This is a good point, though also kind of irrelevant. Plenty of time to complain about lots of things, hence this thread! Oh, and Harden isn't just putting up monster stats. He's putting up monster +/- and Simple Rating (players +/- while on the floor less the team's +/- when he's off). Meaning they're likely 0-6 without him. 3-3 is all that matters...
I don't like Shaq. He is a big bully loving young boys butts because he has a small penis. Yeah, I wouldn't have said it if he wasn't always hating on our superstar Harden, but it's a well known fact to those in those circles, and I have very close people to me that I trust that have to me this with their undisputeable evidence. That's as far as I will go with it though. But if he wants to be on the down low, he should mess with men, and not young teenage boys, IMHO. lol
Why would someone not like Harden? He barely says anything. I guess you don't need a reason if someone rubs you the wrong way but Harden seems more like the kind of guy who you'd want to promote than continually put on blast. Very strange media focus. I'd rather go back to just ignoring Houston athletes like the Dream days.
Thats im trying to understand, shaq is already doing his top 25 players... it will be real funny if he has klay rated ahead of harden when klay is playing like **** and harden has the highest PER in the league, will just discredit that show even more. btw on the shaqtin video, their were a lot of people taking up harden in the comment section
but it is, it shows you that the inside the nba guys are looking for anything to bash us on, and make our best player look bad. If Harden had a rabid fanbase like Curry or LeBron they would put Barkley and Shaq in their place, no doubt about it
They aren't "bashing" anything lol. That whole segment is meant for laughter. If you really are that sensitive, you should just stop watching any media related TV all together.
Let people get upset if they want to. Personally I don't get upset over Shaqtin, but I get why some people might be. Shaq has mentioned in the past that he isn't very high on Harden and has blasted him on several occasions. So there definitely is some bias there. As you said, Shaqtin is meant to be entertaining - in order to be entertaining, they should do what they used to do when they started the show - show some funny on-court basketball fails. That travel by Harden, that wasn't actually a travel doesn't really fit that (well it was a close call, but he didn't take 9+ Steps as shown on Shaqtin). They did the same thing last season multiple times - for instance that time where they had a clip showing Harden playing with kids during all-star weekend, mocking his defense. Again that was not a basketball fail or anything of that sort - they just wanted to use it to mock Harden. Now if they show a Harden pass to nobody, like they have in the past - sure that is funny and is a fail; the Brewer travel for instance where he literally walked with the ball in his hands for a layup from beyond half court; the Sam Dekker trip up, etc...those are all legitimate funny fails. Again, it is just meant to be entertainment...but there were definitely legit basketball fails last week, that were funny that could have been shown instead
