Well sometimes if you ride the coattails of someone great, you end up being thought of as great too...
Hakeem is the man and I'm glad to see any clips of him, but I don't think this is a favor to ABC. The dude is hawking his DR34M clothing line-up. It's a savvy marketing move--a quid pro quo. If anything, it was charitable of Horry to do this favor for Hakeem.
I love Russia. Anyway, it's good to see Dream getting some run. Watching that panel, I knew the person who knew the most sports would obviously be Robin Roberts. And there are quite a few celebs that are from Houston. I've never had the chance to meet him, but I've seen him play, and I've seen him at the Toyota center in Les' seat.
repping houston!!! dream is definitely my favorite basketball player/houston sports athlete of all time.
You're probably right, but I'm sure there are other ways he could have marketed his clothing line. Even within the video, he could have demanded a short segment where he pushed the clothing line himself while they talked...but it was the reporter who mentioned it as an endeavor that Dream's undertaking, not Dream himself.
What a great video, I was smiling the entire time. Thank you so much for posting this. Repped and man I miss the old days... We were truly blessed to have such an amazing talent and person on the Rockets.
I love Hakeem and all, and the video was mildly entertaining only because of that love and Rockets love... but seriously, WTF? This is what passes for news these days? That was an utterly idiotic segment.
That got me smiling....more emotional than I thought it was. Horry...Dream...on the same court again. Man, two of my all time favorite Rockets.
