To each his own but I believe most would go Bey first then Kelly. Then again, if you listen to some of Kelly's recent songs, I wouldn't blame a dude for talking about Kelly non-stop. Michelle wasn't half bad herself. Just that Beyonce and Kelly got that Thunder!

People who can put on a show at halftime: Rihanna, Jay Z, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber (they might to allure more crowd (young girls) = more money). I know some rock bands might be able to put on a show.

It was nice to see Destiny's Child again, but this was no Prince half time show.

Prince has been the best of the recent ones. I think Pearl Jam would make a great choice in the future.

Jay-Z doesn't appeal to the female and gay viewers, so he won't be an option. Seriously, the half time show is not geared towards guys music taste. But it's a great way to get all the people who don't enjoy football (weirdos) to watch the big game.

Holy crap, they had a helluva 7th grade basketball team this year. My son's team played them in a tourney...very athletic...super pressure defense. Good team.

Adele is one of my favorite artists. with that said, she belongs no where on a Super Bowl halftime stage. besides, you can't hold a lighter up for 30 minutes.

    "Beyonce, just all hip shaking.

Put SHAKIRA and RIHANNA in there instead"

I've been talking against women deliberately whoring out their bodies out and cheapening everything since forever. Its unfortunate we can't appreciate real classy vocal talent

Though we're not in the days of Judy Garland anymore either. Yes acts like Britney Spears are pathetic. But things are just more edgy now.

( And if the Super Bowl was in South America, there'd be so much shameless hip thrusting that Beyonce would like Ella Fitzgerald in comparison. )

I don't think Bruce Springsteen, The Who, U2, Tom Petty, and Rolling Stones are female & LGBT aimed and for "weirdos" .... pretty broad generalization to make there.

(Though I would agree overall in ALL MARKETING that guys tastes are being chucked out the window more and more lol. All about women's tastes and tapping into that expendable income, selling guys out by the wayside)

Overall halftime entertainment TRADITIONALLY has been a "showtunesy", glitz and musicals kinda theme. Lots of Disney produced shows. Yeah not the most minimally masculine.

I guess they could try to get some A$AP Rocky and Metallica in there (I'd tune in). But some of the serious acts probably would decline so they don't look like "sellouts" either. So it'll be a bunch of pop acts and Maroon5 kinda stuff.

Apparently there's not going to be a halftime show next year, since it will be too cold in NJ. I'm not mad.
