Right right, people want to watch Adele sit there and sing for 20 minutes at the NFL half time show. You're should write the NFL a letter with this brilliant idea immediately.

Uh, yeah. The halftime show is more about entertainment than vocals.

You need people that move around on stage and dance with lighting effects, visuals, etc...

Adele would be an absolute bore for the Superbowl. She'd be incredible to listen to in a different setting...but the NFL is not for her, at all.

I disagree. The superbowl is more about superstars: Paul McCartney, Prince, The Who, Tom Petty and the heartbreakers, U2.

None of them got on stage and shook their ass. The superbowl has been a mix of young and old talent. There have been "performances" like Janet and Justin, Madonna, etc, but then you get shows like Prince and he blows the crowd away with just his guitar.

Adele is perfect for a badass superbowl halftime show.

Come on bro, you can't hate on the freak n you jodeci. They got straight to the point.. "Everytime I close my eyes, I wake up feeling so horny".. Too legit.

Adele is the best singer, yes, but not someone people wanna see at half time show.

All of these people have stage presence...they dont need to shake their asses because they work the stage and they work the crowd.

The fans at the stadium and the fans all over the world would curl into the fetal position and cry from depression after an Adele performance. You need someone to pump up the crowd.

My guess is that Adele never finds her way to the Superbowl.

Adele doesn't have stage presence, but the 80 year old who does? Alight I'm done with this conversation.

    You win.

They should've went with something more present day. Beyonce has been out of the game for a while. I felt like I went back in time when I heard her songs.

I don't get the criticism. They got a jugely popular, entertaining, superstar to do the halftime show. Makes a lot of sense for the league.

My only criticism is that I would have preferred more destiny's child

    This, for the most part.

It looked like a strip show without the nudity, and with her being married and pointing at her "ring", it made it all the more ironic.

I swear, you must be the king of turning threads upside down with your logic.
Question: Have you ever been to an Adele concert and have you ever been to a concert involving 1 of Beyonce, Madonna, Prince, Paul McCartney, The Who, U2, or even Shakira (who was mentioned)?

Adele can sing circles around just about all of them combined but she is primarily a singer not a singer/entertainer. Adele's shows are about her vocals. Most of the others put on shows that center around their vocals + ability to prance around and entertain the audience.

Why am I bothering, Rezdawg already tried. Sigh.
