That would actually make sense if I were talking about the people being ambushed. Sadly, I'm not. PETA cares more about animals than humans. I'm all fine with people not wanting to eat meat or wear fur. Why they should act high and mighty is beyond me. They're classless and should let people live their lives. Don't try and force your views on anyone else. Most of you agree with me that one shouldn't force religious beliefs on anyone why should this be any different?
Yeah, not to tastelessly stereotype, but I wouldn't go egging three sisters from H-Town. Coddled celebrities or not, they just might hand you a beat down. And, as if it hasn't already been said, homegirl is fine. Halle who?
If it is your doctrine that all sentient life should be free of suffering then freeing animals from mass killings is simply practicing your faith. This is a principle of Buddhism. People of this belief don't care more for animals than people, they simply value all sentient life more than you do. It's ironic that you'd make a statement about not forcing views on people when the party you support does just that with its social agenda.
I have killed too many animals, especially squirrels...I lop off the heads and limbs, and peel the skin off after making a slit on the back but it wasn't till this thread came out that I realized if I was famous, I'd really be on PETA's attack list...PETA could explode for all I care...I'll keep the language in check...But I have it bad in my head for this wayward group... Stuff that they do does nothing special for their cause.
Especially a Htown sister who actually makes the city look good, she's not Enron or Katrina refugees etc
Well humans have a higher inteligence(which could be both good and bad), are higher on the natural food chain, and have more complex requirements to meet their emotional, and physical needs.
Using their chance to sit down with Beyonce to explain their position on animal suffering is pretty outrageous. Damn them!
What happened to her bush...She is hot... They are entitled to their opinion, but its the way they do it...
this is true Meowgi, but ape wouldn't diss Beyonce by pretending to be people who cared about the Save the Music campaign. Ape would be 'man' enough to just simply ask for a meeting and discuss their views. PETA.. DAMN THEM ALL TA HELL!!!
I don't think they went farther than that. The video might have been a bit much but they had an opportunity to confront someone with mass appeal who has an influence and they did it. It was hardly sinister. Some of the comments here are so over the top about it.
I used to hate on PETA, but after watching some of their videos, I don't know... God made us master over the animals and to use them for meat and clothing. But I don't think He had things like slaughterhouses and KFC chicken farms in mind.
