He has had a couple of good shooting games lately and I like his intensity and hustle. Hopefully he will continue to improve and learn how to get the offense going as the season goes on. There is a definite drop off of the offense when he comes into the game.

    ...but McHale doesn't play rookies.

Granted, he doesn't have much other option right now, but he still got some time over Toney.

He does have an age advantage, but Beverley has been one of the best rookies this season.

    Scott "The answer" Machado waived.
    Toney "The future" Douglas traided.

Now it's Beverly's time to what?

Beverley was the more consistent shooter and scorer. He was also a better passer. Beverley needs more consistency on defense.

Another Morey gem on a very favorable contract. He's due ~1.6 mil over the next 2 years that's non-guaranteed money.

beverlys defense is great he is just overly aggresive alot of the time. He needs more minutes on nights when Lin isnt playing novice level

He was solid last night, McFukboy should of given more minutes to Beverly last night when he knows Lin was sick.

Bev is good but he's still raw. He doesn't see the floor well during transition. I saw James get a little frustrated with him. I think he gets too excited sometimes and gets a little lost.

    He did pretty well yesterday.

A trash talking back-up point guard...I can live with that!

Yup. Really loved the hustle Bev showed last night. He knew he needed to step up and he really did. Even little things like trying to get the ball inbounds faster so the opposing defense would have less time to set up.

I am ok with McHale starting Lin last night, but he should have pulled him out and have Beverley play the bulk of the remaining three quarters.

Beverley isn't a rookie. He's played pro ball for years already.

Unless he's played in the NBA before under a pseudonym, he is a rookie in the NBA. Period.

He's not a professional rookie. There is no way you can compare him to a regular rookie. So it has nothing to do with what McHale thinks or does not think about normal rookies.

He's not a real rookie. Period.

I like PB hes been a suprised to me he does commit dumb fouls somtimes but he always makes up for it on the next play on with deflections or steals and hitting 3s he does a good job when he comes in for Lin ..
