Beverley believed the system here in Houston held him back.

I don't think he sounds arrogant as a lot of people here seem to think. He's just being honest. He was a point guard that didn't get to handle the ball, because of The System and also being on the same team as Harden. I like to see that he's trying to diversify and improve his game.

Always liked Bev, and I wish him nothing but the best.

I don't either. He's not dissing the Rockets, just saying he has more game than he's shown, which is what anyone in his situation should say. I hope he kills it out there, with the exception of Dec. 22, Jan. 15, Feb. 28, and March 15.

Beverley will realize what Parsons and Wafer and all the others realized when they got outta Houston.

Maybe it's just me, but you can feel the pain in his heart. He loved it here. It's like you loved your partner but got replaced by somebody better. Rejection is very difficult to deal with.

Man.... so many disrespecting the Wolverine... and its not even like he said anything out of line or attackative ...

He didn't chose to leave in free agency or anything - he got traded by the organization... After years of being the heart and soul of the team and bringing consistent tenacity to the squad...

y'all that wanna rag and call him a scrub n stuff are messed up...

Personally, I appreciate all his efforts in Houston, I wish him the best of luck and hope he's able to rise to the next level and will always have an appreciation and respect for him.

    I find this assertion laughable.

"You know, coming from a system that created wide open shots and encouraged me to shoot - while teaching me what an efficient shot was; i'm just really looking forward to playing inefficiently and seeing how my numbers fare"

We have seen pat with the ball.
He likes to drive inside the paint or near it and try to pass the ball to a guy inside or pass to the corner. Most of the time it resulted in a turnover or bad shot. He would look for a pass first and then try to score if no one was open. Then get a bad shot or or deflected pass.

I like pat but he couldn’t create his own shot. Most of the time when we had Dwight he would waste time and not even lob it to Dwight.

He is a good defender but he should stick to what he does best instead of trying to do something he is just not that good.

Wish best for him but not against us =)

Late in the shot clock Pat was always fun to watch. Perhaps that's more of the Pat we'll see next year.

Pat knows that defense is where he makes his reputation but offense is what gets you paid in the league

hes not going to do anything different as a player. this is just all talk. he may have worked on this and that but it wont translate over to actual games on a nightly basis and be a huge difference as far as contributing to actual w's

See in Houston Beverley could not shoot the mid range. Doc will allow Bev to flourish his game and become a 16+ scorer
