It says something when it has to be clarified that Westbrook didn't take 27 shots against one player in a game. Read that stat and totally thought it was just for game 5.

    Got it.

The turnovers aren't bad then. But the shooting is obviously awful. Whatever the case great job Bev

It should be noted Harden had a tougher task based on assignment. Roberson is an amazing defender who unlike Bev basically played all the time whereas Bev was out half the time so the Rockets could go small with shooters. And even when Bev was in there the Rockets overall defense just isn't as good as the Thunders. True in the regular season and in the postseason.

Russ was scoring on Lou, Harden, the bigs, Gordon (though he did an ok job) ... not exactly defensive stalwarts ... except Bev... who held him in check.

So many great Press Podium one liners in the first round of the playoffs.

westbrook is a great talent but just a low iq player. That alone will hold him back if he continues to be as selfish as he is for the rest of his career. oh ok you had 40 something at the time but how many shots did you throw up? Oh wait didn't you say you don't give a fck about your stat line in a loss not to long ago?

Steve wasn't selfish and a stat padder at the cost of his teammates game though

Westbrook's inefficiency should take him out of MVP contention....

Man, props to Beverly. Has really shown maturity and poise while being a beast on the court. He has solidified his presence on this team and has really provided that grit and voice. Very good complement to Harden's passive style. You can tell he is sniffing out a championship.

What was weird about harden guarding Russ is that it always seemed like harden got him to take a midrange jumper.

    Russ never actually burned him.

But your right Roberson was harden because he guarded harden every second of the every game. Bev would be in the game and guard somebody else while Ariza had Westbrook.

Mainly because of foul trouble but still.

I thought the Rockets D and rebounding was fantastic this series especially in the 2nd half of games.

If we maintain this d and can get the shooting going it's lights out for whoever we play next round.

I mean that game 5 we really did have a lot of wide open threes. Guys got to hit them and I think they will.

Sure. He blocked his own man's shot on a crucial play down the stretch in game 5, lol.

You've never played serious basketball before if you haven't fought a teammate for a loose ball in the air.

Well, we now know why Ethan Strauss was fired today along with Calvin Watkins. How dare he post true facts about Westbrook.

Perhaps. But it was symbolic of the tunnel vision he develops in the clutch.

if this isn't sarcasm then yes he without a doubt has an extremely low bbq iq especially for an mvp caliber player. it is no where near as high as it should be. his main problem is his me first pride, where he believes he is above everything else which is fine but it causes him to make some of the worst decisions over the course of a full game.

A low bbiq player doesn't average a triple double.

averaging a triple double does not define how high or low a players bball iq is. that doesn't make any sense in response to my post.
