    Bev brings ATTITUDE
    Much needed ATTITUDE

If you play DMo and Smith or Jones together. . . and they sit at the three point line
Does Jordan get to still sag into the lane all game long?

Some of you are REALLY underrating what DMO did for the team. He creates his own shot, shoots pretty well from 3, hits his FT's at an okay rate, is a great passer, runs the floor, and plays great positional defense. He would be starting next to Dwight and would be a go-to scoring option. He would make Griffin work on defense and spread the floor. I knew the rockets wouldn't make it past the second round without him. He was such a huge part of the team's regular season record, much of it with Dwight and TJones out.

We all knew losing Dmo was the end of us going deep in the playoffs. He was our only post option.

Not sure the over all outcome of the series would be any different, but I do think we would have at least competed.

Losing a player who was having a career year, and your starting PG.....blah. Absolutely no post game once DMO went down.

The two injuries made the depth thin. The bench are now starters. That is bad. The third stringers are now backups. That is bad.

BTW - i think I would like to see more Capela as something more than just a designated fouler
NOTHING pissed me off more than the HACK A CRAP last game
where we did not EVEN TRY to see what Capela could do

Hack A should be your LAST OPTION not your first!!

The Cavs are down Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving is on one foot. Mike Conley probably can't feel half his face. John Wall has one hand, Cavs, Grizz, Wizards all dealing with injuries, but guess what, they've all found a way.

Kid has all NBA natural instincts for a Big Man. He grabs and secures rebounds and blocks shots with excellent timing. He's got the timing almost down which puts his upside at the tremendous level. I think Capela adds some good weight, but not too much, he can actually become a Hakeem type of player. He's got a bright future.

The way I really see it. DJ would be able to block some of Dmo's post shots and make it difficult but at the same time if Dwight's on the court he would have to cover Dwight's athleticism which would show Dmo's passing skills. Dmo would definitely **** up and slow down Griffin's game.

I dunno I think stuff like that is a crutch to that level unless you're missing a LeBron/KD like talent. It's like saying Mavs would have done better if Parsons, Rondo, Harris, Jefferson, and Felton didn't get hurt. It might have helped but one team still won and the other didn't.

That way is Lebron James. I love Harden just as much as anyone else... but he's no LBJ. It's not an excuse. As currently constructed, the Clips are better. If we had DMO and Bev healthy I think you can make more of a case that they're evenly matched.

he's objectively right, it would be a different series with dmo offense and bev defense.... thats why im content with trading jones next year with jsmoove coming off the bench

You have to keep JSmoove with Dwight still a Rocket. I would switch out McHale to see how this team plays with better coaching first and foremost.

I would agree if the scores weren't so lopsided in all three of our losses.

Bev and DMo out does not equate to back to back 25+ point losses. In the playoffs. Where both games were immensely important.

What we have seen the past two games, and as a series as a whole, is a lack of effort, desire to win, fundamentals and a team giving up on the season before our eyes. We flat out gave up after the Clippers made a run. It's pathetic. There is nothing redeemable about any of the last two games that would give hope that the Rockets are going to pull it out. At this point, Game 5 is more of a formality than an actual game.

If we had played hard but lost at the end, then we can point to having Bev and DMo out as the factors for the losses. But those two don't make this series any different than it is.

Bev to slow down Paul, DMO for a low post option with actual brains on defense. I think we are at least competitive with them as well.

Bev would **** up the likes of Rivers, Reddick and that other China MVP scrub. He would hinder their respective games immensely. Reddick and Rivers would not score more than 10 each.

Chemistry is a strange and fleeting thing and I am NOT saying it changes the outcome, but it would have clearly made the Rox a lot stronger.

If they had Chris Paul we might not have won a game. I seriously doubt Beverly and Dmo are the difference between this team winning and 30 point blowouts.
