Selfish loser bum got preferential treatment here and did whatever the F he wanted and then quit. Bailed on Brooklyn when the going got tough and now he’s wasted 2 of Embiid’s prime years by being a sorry ass loser. Yet Harden’s clueless, dumbass fans are savoring for him to come back…. For the max…. Cause he ages like fine wine… and he’s a point god… and he’ll be a mentor for our young guys… and has a lot to teach. SMH

Clueless Harden fanbois think their hero loves basketball cause he plays as many games and minutes as he can to pad individual stats. If he truly loved basketball and was serious about winning it would show. There’s rest, recovery, rehab, proper nutrition, dieting, practice and studying film just to name a few. He takes none of that seriously. At a time (playoffs) when most guys cut off from the world to stay focused… Harden is thinking party.

His true love is partying. It always has been.

Just a few moments… ain’t nobody got time to list all the times.

What does loving something have to do with being a professional.

Why is this even news? Passion for bball (or anything really) stops/diminishes once it becomes J.O.B.

When it's just your hobby you can do all sorts of ****, you play when you to and don't play when you're tired. You can hoop to destress and forget all your worries. Once its your job though, then you gotta do it even if you don't feel like it. Now there are expectations, if before you just play for fun now you need to get results otherwise you're passport should be ready for China. Before bballl was your destresser now it's the one causing you stress. if before you can play 2 hours or just 1 game and then stop, now you need to think about hoops 24 hours a day. If you're not thinking about hoops then you're traveling. You might even end up traveling all the way to another state and live there if you get traded. I'm sure not seeing their family and the feeling of being rootless tends to take their toll after a while. Yeah there's also a lot of perks, but human nature is we take the things we get for granted and then focus on the negatives of our situation. That's why guys like Melo worked really hard in college but then stopped progressing in the NBA, because it gets tiresome to go to the gym and work on your game if you're already playing basketball so much.

Pretty sure a lot of working people relate to this. Even music artists, actors or book authors end up hating something they did just for fun before once they turn pro. Hell even pro gamers or streamers get so sick of what they're doing their mental health takes a dive after a while and their job is literally playing video games and reacting to stuff on media platforms.

Harden has big stage issues and messes up in the playoffs?

Sleep is a huge problem in the NBA. Their travel schedule is merciless. I'm guessing they wake up long enough to eat, ****, practice and back to sleep before the games. Sleeping on a plane just isn't the same. And definitely, sleep is such a gigantic component of recovery. I'm no pro athlete or even close but when I'm on a groove with exercise my sleep pattern is GREAT. Solid 8 hours, feeling rested but it's because I gave my body a reason to lay tf down lol

I did drum corps for 3 seasons, the travel nights where we had to get off a bus and start practicing were always brutal. Every time. We were teenagers too, indestructible but can you imagine a 32 year old pro athlete??? You just played an NBA game last night. You showered and got on a plane for a plane nap. You're in another city at 3am going to a hotel. Get in a hotel and sleep a bit more. Guessing a mid-morning wake up, breakfast. Go to a gym for therapy/film. Lunch, practice in the early afternoon. Shower and go back to a hotel for some sleep. Wake up, eat dinner and go to another NBA game. These guys most likely cherish the opportunity to stay in a city for 2-3 days of consistent sleep and food. They do more traveling on a plane than anyone knows.

It's playing with the knowledge that the games are sometimes a predetermined script with skewed games for personal preference or profits rather than a fair game. Pays more than just about any job in the world despite it being a dirty setting to play the sport of basketball. It makes sense.
