What an awesome lady, and she was pretty active until she died. It's a shame she couldn't go another couple of weeks to make 100, but I'm sure @tinman is celebrating she ended life a 99'er.
She would also do any talkshow, and give zero f*s. Somewhere in the interweb, there has to be a video of Norm McDonald and Betty White.
Arthur Duncan shows up in the following clip, but there are also some interesting commercials from the past including one from Jerry Lewis & Dean Martin for the MDA. Following that she interviews a little girl who wants to present a gift to Winston Churchill for his 80th birthday. A member of the British Consulate accepts the gift on his behalf.
Golden Girls fun fact: The actress that played the mom in that series, Estelle Getty, was actually a year younger than Betty White and her on screen daughter Bea Arthur.
Rest in Peace, really funny woman who even in her twilight years stood for her values for everyone. The highest compliment I can give is someone who fully maximizes thier potential and gifts, she did just that.
