You would be really naive to think Luis Scola is a better basketball player than Chris Bosh. You would be even more naive to "prove it" by showing Scola's stats vs. Bosh's this year.

That said, Scola's had a fantastic start to the season. I hope he doesn't wear down.

And Bosh will have a better season -- his team will go farther in the playoffs. Isn't that what it's all about?

With 2 clear megastars playing with him, Bosh is option 3. Apples and Oranges comparing their stats head to head. He cannot put up stats comparable to what Scola will be given the freedom to. Bosh's 15 and 7 maybe me of a lot more significance than Scola's 24 and 9 if the Rockets fail to make the playoffs and the Heat wins the Championship.

I dont see the argument the Bosh will make the playoffs with 15 and 7 people are saying. Essentially Roles reversed and now Bosh is on a team he can average 15 and 7. When he was on a bad team like the Rockets who arent necessarily considered bad yet? He averaged what Scola is averaging and they never hardly made the playoffs. Always bottom dwellers and less scorers ontheir teams than Scola has. So no Bosh being better on a bottom feeder team does not get erased just because his stats dip with megastars Lebron and Wade. its basically the exact same principle. They are close enough in what they give offensively and defensively that the money was not worth picking him up for a max contract. Scola is better for the money. Close.

Better defensive season: Fish out of water or NBA player?

I still lol when people claim falling on the ground is a better defensive strategy than what Carl Landry brings.
