Ariza is like Tracy without the god-given talent.

He definitely plays the same way. Fadeaways, dribbles into double teams, attempts to make fadeaways from the corner...

    Jacks up threes. Rarely drives...

Ron had Yao..Ariza had chuck hayes. Also this whole thing about ron taking the rockets to the second round is way overrated.

Rockets played the blazers. A young and upcoming team who doesn't have playoff experience. Yao was able to guard true centers who doesn't have the speed and quickness boozer did. Matchup wasn't a problem.

Better one year player the rockets have tho has to be Ron. But then again does it really matter. They both failed. No championship both years.

The Lakers were just as good if not better this year with Artest instead of Ariza - why would Ariza have done any better with Yao than Artest did?

Im sorry but i have to strongly disagree.
None of them could dribble therefore non could create shots for themselves.
The only thing thats agreeable is that ron could post up smaller guys..
As far as defense hmmmm i still think thats debatable considering ron really didn't shut down that many guys really. Made it tough for them to score but they still did.
