GSW would blow away all those teams. They are a legendary team. Shaq and Kobe weren't together when McGrady was here.

In what world is the West a cakewalk? KD/WB Thunder, arguably the GOAT Spurs team, stacked Warriors with 3 all stars on pace for the GOAT season, Lob City with 2 Top 10 players.

Those are 4 teams easily better than us and are for my money better than any of those early 00's teams.

I think the West's record this year is deceptive. Blazers lost damn near the entire starting lineup, Pelicans have been injury hit all season long and no one could've predicted the Grizzlies & us collapsing like this.

I don't understand why our fans keep claiming this current roster is extremely talented either. It really isn't, out of this entire roster only Harden would be a starter on our 09 team for example. Now that was a true title contending team that had everything it needed to win.

T-Mac never had the best supporting casts but when you go 0-7 all excuses go out the window.

T-Mac, when T-mac played, we all know he lost cause noone helped him, he did his part. Can't say the same about james.

I forgot to mention the Spurs. Bruce Bowen would ****ed curry on the daily brah.

Nba always needs a staple team to make it entertaining. They are the recipients.

McGrady's postseason career for the fanboys that have glossed over his yearly choking in the post-season

The romanticizing of TMac on this forum is hilarious.

Mavs series was rigged. Do you know who stepped out of bounds?
Game 7 Rafer Alston pulled a Jeremy Lin ala Portland style.

The other series he was always the underdog. Thats why he left Orlando.

Look at the cluster**** we are in Right Now. We are suppose to win it all.

Typical for you guys. The team is in disarray and you are talking about something completely different.

Trying to get away from reality that is a Harden led team.

Guess what Drogba is history too. He is going to retire.

Harden is pulling a Scottie Pippen. He wants out and wants to go to LA.

Last year: Rockets getting past a very ****ty depleted Mavs 1st round. Josh Smith giving us hell Mary luck to beat the Clippers.

We weren't the underdog against Utah.

JVG got fired . "It's on me".

The other series. I was referring to the Orlando team.

Jvg got canned for putting a stiff 7'5 on a very mobile 6'8 Boozer. He got abused and killed by the midrange and speed.

Kind of like putting a small Tjones on a bigger Lamarcus Aldridge and getting shipped out the first round. We were the favorites there.

You got to hand it to Boozer and Deron Williams back then.

They were Stockton and Malone light and were Allstars or close Allstars at that time.

They got waxed by the Spurs that year and waxed by the Lakers the next year.

    Like Karate Kid cleaning cars

At least Harden and company lost to the NBA CHAMPS

Yep. We had no answer for Ak47 the white Kawhi Leonard or Okur the light Dirk. Then you had Harping bullying the **** outta Battier. We had Wesley, Rafer, and Matt Bowen.

Yeah, Yao is a little too romanticized.

05 was fixed. We should have won.

06 Yao and McGrady were both injured.

If Yao wasn't completely dominated by Boozer and Okur that year in 07, we likely would have gone to the WCF, if not farther.

Then he was injured the next year, killing our playoff hopes. McGrady played through shoulder and knee injuries in a losing playoff series that everyone knew was a waste after Yao (and later Rafer) got injured. It's embarrassing people don't want to give credit to his "heart" for that one.
