HAHAHA..., let's not overdo it or anything.

Can we add Scottie Pippen to this list?

How about Clyde and Hakeem when Barkley came over and he was clearly the only dude playing like he was hungry?

McGrady did have a Houston Heart. He laughs for victory, and he sighs and cries for lost.

Harden can't wait to go to the stripper club, while playing on court. Harden giving no S**T, just like being asked and challenged by Clay T for whom is the best SG in the league.

I'm uncomfortable with this thread. It's clear this team has many issues, a lot of them outside of Harden. We are trying to compare the leadership of a player who has finished his career to one who is going through growing pains in his prime.

I think it would be more appropriate to judge when we get the best possible pieces around him/or when his career is over. Still a lot of water to pass under the bridge.

    Both are lazy players.

But TMAC won't put much energy on sex and strip club.

The words sounded so great. :(

We all know the story: first day of practice, he came in and told everyone to tuck their shirts in. He was gonna be the leader, the guy!

Then somewhere along the way, the money, the fame, the woman...took it all away!

James Harden seizing opportunity to lead Rockets

Tracy played his best ball in the playoffs and that didn't get us anywhere. Maybe we could have been a perpetual second round team if our squads were ever healthy.

Harden plays very inconsistently in the playoffs but he has way more to show for it. Outside of that horrendous turnover fest in the conference finals, James was the reason we didn't get swept at the very least and we were basically two or three shots away from starting the series off 2-0.

Tmac took a scrub ass team to 55 wins. He's problem was trusting Rafer Alston dribbling the ball in the last minutes of a game 7 elimination game.

Agreed. This puts him ahead of Harden for me, for now.

Neither is the leader an NBA team needs, unfortunately.

Tmac also took accountability for everything. Too bad he got bashed for it. He should be like Harden, deflect and neglect any kind of accountability. Just talk up a storm about WE as a team and give the role players encouragement.

MerGady could have been so much more than Harden if his back was healthy. Harden already quit more times than MerGady ever did. Let's make this thread a poll.

After joining us, McGrady's game never improved. On the other hand, Harden has improved his ball handling skills and expanded his offensive repertoire.

Since neither of them have the killer instinct/personality of a natural leader, I'm going to go with the guy who worked to improve his game. If anything, you could say that Harden has led by example.

HArden is already on the decline. We got Mac at his peak.

    Yeah... Harden leads by example.

    Stop romanticizing TMac

Harden has already accomplished WAY more as a Rocket that mac ever did.
