Penny was Penny, he wasn't really stoppable one on one. His problem was that he sometimes didn't push his advantage as hard as he could. He'd be happy with easy efficient 25 when he could go for 40. But I do agree that Pippen was a better help defender than Jordan. I think he's the best help defender ever, among wings. A great defensive leader too. I'm not sure who's the better man defender. Both were great.
