better defender, maxwell or battier?

If Maxwell had gotten some of his problems under control and/or been on a contending team, he probably would have been a Hall of Fame candidate by now or at least won a Defensive player of the Year award.

I love Battier and respect the class he brings both on and off the court but, Mad Max was and should be considered a legendary defender very few compare to in his natural talent.
