Bullard is corny but realistic and insightful.

    Clyde embellishes a lot.

To be truthful, I like the both but prefer when JVG and crew or Kevin Harlan and Doug Collins call a game.

Bullard, he is funnier and more insightful. It seems like they win more when he's doing it too...but that's just probably all in my head.

He has humor, he's not stupid.

Boy, your laughing point is really low.....

The things Clyde says are pure stupidity and he tries too hard to make jokes thats not funny.

He'd say stuff like, "Did you know that Yao is 7'6?"
"Did you see what i just saw?"
    "I agree with you"
    "That's correct"
"Did you see how high he got?"
"Did i just see Yao blow a lay-up?"

    i hate clyde's laugh

    ha ha ha ha

clyde NEVER breaks down plays. i like "bullseye." although most of the time he breaks down some easy to see plays, it's more than what clyde does, which is pretty much NOTHING...

I didn't buy League Pass this year because if would have thrown a shoe through the television if I had heard Clyde say one more time, (whatever player) "really knows how to play the game." Of course that player does. They all do.

I miss Calvin because, despite his digressions into cookie issues, he brought real insight with his analyses. Van C. also was very good at that. Bullard tries, but Clyde needs to bask -- silently -- in the limelight he deserves as a Houston basketball legend.

Yeah... 'Cause nothing is better than listening to someone eat cookies for 48 minutes. Good riddance.

CALVIN should be on the list too, see who is a winner among three. Clyde is the worst one, almost everyone knows it.

Clyde is like a Ed McMahan to Bill Worrell's Johny Carson.

In other words he is as useless as a fork at a hotdog eating contest...

At least Bullard can break down the game and does a good job in the "Bullseye" at breaking down plays for the audience. You may think he is corny but at least he tries to be original in his approach.

Clyde on the other hand is Captain Obvious. "ha ha ha...you are correct...ha ha ha"

As far as Calvin goes he was just flat out annoying. I know he is a Houston icon blah blah blah but he was a bit obnoxious, those pimp suits were over the top, and if I have to here "my brutha" one more time it might just send me over the edge... :p

You do know that Houston is the 4th largest city in the US right?

Also, Bull may be a homer, but I thought it was funny when he said that Dwight howard of the Magic was the best Center in the game, and Yao freaking went off on Howard.... :D

Clyde Drexler is by far the worst excuse for a color guy ever. Saying the same crap over and over loudly makes me want to die.

Clyde should have rode off into the sunset like Hakeem and only showed his face every once in awhile.

All Bullard does is complain about the refs over and over. At least he doesn't do it over and over loudly.

    Bill Worrell is awful too.

We have to have the worst announcing crew ever in the history of athletic competition. I'd rather have the people that do the spelling bee.

I go with Bull cause his filler isn't "consummate professional."

Bull is more polished, but Clyde is getting better.

Clyde has major off games though where nothing he says makes sense, and it makes you want to press the mute button. Some games he's good, some games hes just awful. Like I remember one time where he said like 5 things in a row that made no sense, and it was capped off with "Battier's standing their with a coffee and a cup of sandwich" or something like that. I just felt for the guy.

One thing Clyde is really bad at is calling replays. Like when they start showing highlights and he has to call whats going on, it's just embarassing. "Heres Yao Ming on the low block, NOTHIN but net."
"Heres Mcgrady drivin to the hole with the nice pass to battier. GET N THERE!"

And he does this game after game.

I love Clyde, but Bull wins hands down, not even close, a real professional, nothing but net, and it's all due to Les Alexander (kiss, kiss), the best owner in all of basketball.

you obviously have very low standards.

that sex-offender (accused by his daughter), Clyde and Bull are among the worst commentators.

outside of Houston, Tx, none of them would be considered for a commentator job, much less getting one. !

Clyde is terrible. I'd prefer an empty chair to Clyde. Bullard isn't great but at least he doesn't repeat the same 10 phrases ad nauseum over the entire season and he gives insight on occasion. If I was to guess, I'd say Clyde spends very little of his spare time at Rockets practices or following the NBA in general when he isn't sitting on the sideline next to Bill Worrell. It shows. With some ex-players, you can tell they are plugged into the league. With Clyde, he obviously ain't. Some of his comments about other team's players are insane and I wish he would be quiet instead of saying something dumb.

Bullard is OK with me. Not great; not bad.

I thought Bullard was being corny on purpose. I guess I gave him too much credit. Clyde is horrible but he has gotten better and I have actually learned to appreciate some of the off the wall stuff he says. It's like a game within the game.

Calvin is, of course, the greatest of all tiiiiiieeeeme!!!
