Bull isn't a homer today on 610 he was saying that only boston, lakers, and clevland had a chance at winning the championship
He got a job as a reporter in Waco. So it all worked out. LOL http://www.kxxv.com/Global/story.asp?s=8808235
I cant stand Bullard. Firstly he is way to biased. I mean calling stuff for your team is one thing but continuosly even after replays show ok yeah its a foul on us or we did touch it last I cant stand it!!! "Oh there was a foul some where in there....) WTF Obvious kills me, yeah okay I saw it happen why are you repeating it so much. I love when we have games on ESPN or TNT because I will switch from 37 so fast. Lets take the new radio guy on 610 for us, at least he puts everything out the way he see's it Rockets or opponents and thats what I want. When I see a game I want to see whats really out there.
Bullard's attempts at being funny in itself is comic lol. He is a much better commentator, but Clyde is improving. He's getting more and more insightful, but he's still using annoying phrases. Also, I don't get this obsession with Calvin. Some of the ideas he has are really unbearable.
So in the two polls you've made, you think Artest is more valuable than T-Mac and Drexler is a better commentator than Bullard. Can't wait for your next poll.
I'd rather have any of them over Van Chancellor. He may have been a good coach, but he should have never commentated one game.
It's kind of similar to Scolandry. Individually Clyde and Bullard are OK, but together, they complement each other to make a greater whole. You can only take so much of Clyde before his remarks starts to feel vapid and redundant. That's when Bullard steps in and brings a commentary style that dry but has more substance. That's why we need...Clybullard.
They're both surprisingly bad. Drexler for not seeming to keep up with the NBA's latest trends and adding little of any value and Bull for his teleprompter routine which takes ten minutes to document basic plays which most understand already. But I realize that this is a small town broadcast and appreciate their efforts. Every once in a while Clyde will make me laugh and Bull will add some inside info from the team of the 90's.
I have no idea why some of you think Clyde is boring. I love how enthusiastic he is after moves our sophomore players do. Like when Brooks ankle break an entire team or when Landry dunks on the entire team. Clyde is always the one cheering the loudest. I also love Clyde's laugh.
I don't understand why everyone loves the analysis....I think only the national broadcasters do it anyway (probably because they have a team of people helping them to find stuff as well). Commentary on local broadcasts is a lot less important in my opinion - they are more or less cheerleaders.
I can't stand Clyde and his "Drexlerisms." Bull isn't too bad, a lot of his jokes are kind of lame, but overall I give him his props. I don't know what is going to happen when we lose Bill, I can't imagine a game without him. I'll miss hearing "Hi everybody, I'm Bill Worell, good to have you with us" before every game. Pugs P.S. I'd give anything to have Calvin back!!
