    The only Apatow film I really liked was 40 Year Old Virgin.

    Dumb and Dumber, There's Something About Mary, and Kingpin are awesome. Me, Myself, and Irene wasn't bad either.

    So 3 to 1, Farrelly Brothers win.

    Aptow has yet to make anything close to the cinematic classic that is Something About Marry.

    Solid funny films, but not classics.

    I saw Hall Pass the other night. Or rather, I started watching it, and it was so bad, I turned it off.

    What happened to the Farrelly Brothers? Their recent string of movies is horrible.

    kevin smith started out strong, but then an embolism burst in his head and he died in mid backstroke (creatively speaking).

    I was shocked to see that movie directed by them

    I mean for me dumb and dumber trumps all the other movies that Apatow has done and I am a big Apatow fan, but there is no denying a lot of the movies he has done (or been involved in) lately have done really well.

    Dumb and Dumber though stands alone though can quote that movie till the day I die. Oddly enough I still have the full movie ticket stub for when I saw this christmas day in 1994. My cousin and I saw the opening matinee show and they never tore off my ticket stub. Its in a jar in the attic of my parents house though.

    I'll go with Apatow but Dumb and Dumber is the best movie from either side.

    40 yr old virgin is a very close second however.
