Ditto. Haven't been there since 1991, and am dying to go back. My dad played golf with James Coburn at Princeville that trip.
Damn I miss Kauai!!!! I miss seeing BoBo at Hanalei surf shop. I miss seeing James Bond at Zelo's. I miss snorkeling at Anini Beach. I miss body boarding at Hanalei bay. I miss the sunsets at the Princeville hotel while sipping on a lava flow. I miss Bubbas Cheeseburgers and Chili and Rice. I miss shaved ice. I miss being 4 hours behind Houston and waking up naturally at 8 am every morning. (I'm not lazy, I'm on ISLAND TIME!)
Baytown Texas. You can simply grab a handfull of oily air and whipe it all over your naked body, as you lay out under the baking sun in boiling hot humidity. Ah, Baytown. DD
