You are full of crap

The Suns have much more young talent than the Rockets. If you don't believe it just check their rosters.

HAHA! Yeah, check out that roster. Big Jake!? Yeah whatever. The Rockets will be playing the way they should be playing because they'll actually be utilizing their center.

Marbury is at the very least the 2nd best PG in the league right now. Gary Payton, Tony Parker, Bobby Jackson said on national TV that Marbury is the best PG. I think they know a little bit more about PGs than a deluded nuggets fan.

I would take Kidd and Payton over Marbury. Karma will come though, the Suns fans are so convinced that they have the next great team and because they finished ONE GAME ahead of the Rockets that they are more talented that it will be fun watching reality hit them. If the Rockets finished one game behind the Suns without a coaching disciplining them, I can't wait to see what they do this year. The ironic thing though is that the Suns fans are on our board just trying to convince us that they're that much more talented and better then us. If you're better then the Rockets you don't have to come to our board and convince us, you'll just know it and talk among yourselves on your message board.

If you wouldn't consistantly every day try to compare your team to the Suns we wouldn't come.
That's not even the big problem but your best arguments hold no water and the threads are all about insulting the Suns. You got no class.

Visit some Suns boards nobody there talks about the Rockets. The fact that you have to try to make yourself better than the Suns all the time on these boards should tell you something.

Besides that we didn't just finish 1 game ahead of you. We were locked in for the playoffs with 3 games left on the schedule! And that was with the Rockets getting a scandal free win against the Clippers.

Ooh and you didn't have a coach to discipline your players? But you had a hall of fame coach preparing your team for years for this season.
The Suns had a rookie coach starting his first full season and 3 new assistants that didn't even have the full offseason to work with the players and get to know the players. None of the coaches even knew each other before.

The only thing that Rocket fans can do is make excuses.

Especially you "RocksMillenium" are one of the guys on these boards that sound like a broken record.

I am lurking on these message boards for several years and EVERY DAMN year you are trying to put the Suns down and are convinced that you will be better, you even thought the Rockets should be favorites to win their division that how full of crap you are. And it is the same every year.

Do you think we even care about that anymore?

This isn't the past and Elie isn't Paxson. On top of that Elie even came to play for our team and was apreciated.

Just proves you don't have real arguments except for "Yao Ming is 7'5" anf if if if...

Simple comparison. Amare benefited from having Matrix, Hardaway and Marbury on his team. He was the fourth option for defenses. He got most of his points on put backs or dunks. No game outside of 10 feet. Then look at Yao. Yao CARRIED the Rockets. I know some of you think Francis is God and some think that Mobley is an all-star (don't get me started on that one), but Yao was the number one focus for defenses last year. And he put up better numbers than Stoudemire.

I disagree with you saying that people thought Mobley was an All-Star, I don't think people thought that, but other then that I agree with everything you said. Yao carried this team and learned to adjust after being the focus of other team's strategies. Now Amare is a marked man, something he wasn't last year. Lets see how he adjusts.

You must care about something because you're on our board whining and crying because we're not kissing the Suns behind.

Awww, poor baby, I upset you? As for every year I try and put the Suns down, HUH!? Revionist history, I only talk about the Suns when we were in the hunt for a playoff spot with them, and when people compare us to them. Stop trying to act like I give a crap about the Suns. And when did I say the Rockets were the favorites to win the division!? I picked the Rockets the last few years behind Dallas and San Antonio what the hell are you talking about? If you want to talk about basketball that's fine, but stop lying and making a fool out of yourself.

Slinslin,

You know you care or else you wouldn't be constantly trying to rub everyone's nose in your team's success or trying to convince that everything about the Suns is better than the Rockets. Marbury is better than Francis. Amare is better than Yao. Marion is better than EG. The Suns are better than the Rockets. blah blah blah.

I don't think I have ever seen you post one positive thing about the Rockets. Which begs the question: Why are you here, at a Rockets BBS???

You either very much care or you are a troll. My guess is, you are both. ;)

As a matter of fact slinslin, to show how much of a liar you are, dig up a post of mine saying the Rockets were favorites to win the division. You'll find posts of mine saying the Rockets could finish as high as #5 or #6 but will likely finish between #6 or #8. But NOWHERE did I say the Rockets were "favorites" to win anything.

If you wouldn't consistantly every day try to compare your team to the Suns we wouldn't come.

I have no class, yet you're making up lies about me. Ok. As for comparing ourselves to the Suns, huh? Look, you're not the best team in the league, get over yourselves. We don't wish to be the Suns. We would rather be the Lakers, and that starts with overcomign adversity. I've never seen fans act like they're a dynasty after getting a freaking #8 seed. That's a heck of an accomplishment, and I would like the Rockets to make the playoffs, but please don't think we're "drooling" over the Suns and comparing ourselves you everyday.

The ironic thing is that slinslin claims we always start threads drooling about the Suns, we obsess over them, and Suns fans don't care about us, yet the only thread about the Suns was created by a Suns fan and inhabited by Suns fans so insecure about their team that they have to prove their "superiority" over the Rockets. Figure that one out!

LOL! It is quite an honour to have a Sun fan lurking A ROCKET BOARD for several years fearing of what the ROCKET's fans had said about the Sun.

You know! If your team are really great, you do not need to go lurking other team board.

Try to really believe in your team for once! Have your confidence in them. They will do OK!

I agree! I am a new Rocket's fan and Yao's fan. For a short time (not several years) that I am on this board, I have rarely seen a rocket fan starting the thread about the Sun.
It is always some Sun's fans, like the starter of this thread, who start the arguement.

I do not think that we think much of the Sun. They will be our competitor but not a major one.

It also shows how insecured the Sun's fan are feeling about their team if they have to lurk and troll the Rocket board,
the team that infact finished one match behind them and not in the play-off last year.

For me! I am confident that my team, The Rocket, will make the play-off this year and may do better than the Sun this year.
I do not need to go convince the Sun's fans on their board, they show the confidence in my team by coming to the Rocket board themself.

;)

Nah, more like Utah Jazz Syndrome - it afflicts the fans of teams who will always be decent, maybe even very good at times, but will never, EVER, win big. So they have to whine about it. This used to be San Antonio Spurs syndrome, but then Duncan had to go and mess up the system...

Amen! This slinslin guy has been here since that game winning shot by Marbury early last year. He disappeared when the Rockets won the next 3 games against the Suns. Now he's just a liar. First he lied about me picking Rockets to win the division and ripping the Suns, now it's just evolved into a huge lie, allegedly the entire message board is one huge communications channel, built by Clutch, to rip the all powerful Suns even though they've never won an NBA championship in their franchise's history. But logic like that doesn't stop conspiracy theories created by trolls like this. His little fragile ego can't handle the fact we're not lumping the Suns with the Kings, Mavs, Lakers, T-Wolves and Spurs. And what hurts him worse is that he knows the Rockets will be in the playoffs next year, so he's p*ssed we're not kissing the Suns @ss or that we don't fear a team we pounded 3 out of 4 times last year. And *gasp* the Rockets might actually PASS the Suns up in the standings, which is shocking since the Suns had that monsterous ONE game lead on the Rocks! And the theory "we clinched 3 days before the end of the season" is disguising the fact there was only like one more game left in the season. Good luck getting through the West without a center and a bench Phoenix, and stop obsessing over us and our message board.

Bingo! I think that most Rockets fans feel we will make the playoffs, and some, like myself, think we'll finish ahead of Phoenix. That's not singling out Phoenix because I think we'll finish ahead of Portland to and get the #6 seed in the West. But you don't see running over to the Suns board proclaiming how good we will be or ripping Amare Stoudemire. I mean you have to be an idiot if you think Yao Ming is only effective because he's 7-5. So bottomline, the Rockets will be back, we'll get to the playoffs, ahead of Phoenix, and we'll give someone a run for their money in the first round, maybe pull off an upset. That's my opinion slinslin, I hope your ego can deal with it.

Nonfactors...

What makes you think that any one of these guys will ever become a solid player?

Hell, if you're going to list those 5 as young talent, then we should be able to list Badiane, Tito, T-Mo, and Jason Collier.

BTW, please find one more thread about(Derailing) the Suns in the last 10 days...anywhere. You post at a Rockets board, yet claim that we obsess about your team?
