Wasn't there a spin-off of Good Times, too?

    Yep

TRIVIA NOTE: THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW was the first spin-off in TV history. It was spun-off from THE DANNY THOMAS SHOW from an episode wherein Danny Thomas was driving too fast in a small rural town and got pulled over and eventually put in jail by a friendly by law abiding local sheriff (played by Andy Griffith).

I saw some of that appearance on something fairly recently. I can't remember what I was watching, though (maybe one of those big CBS anniversary shows).

Ok, here's a real headscratcher...former M*A*S*H cast members who later had their own shows, excluding spin offs? I can think of at least 2...

Well, I actually watched "Hello, Larry", so there's one (McLean Stevenson).

LOL! I thought no one would remember that one.

There are 2 more, one whose name I am unsure of ( sort of have the idea) and one I know.

I guess it depends on what you would consider to be one's "own show". David Ogden Steirs has had roles in a couple of other series. I remember he was on "Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place" in the first season (he was a crazy guy in the pizza parlor who thought he was various characters from movies), and he's on that show "The Dead Zone", but he's not the main character in either of those.

As for "Helly, Larry", I don't know why that show has stuck with me. I even vaguely remember the theme song. I couldn't have watched it more than once or twice, but it's burned into my memory right next to "We Got it Made" and "It's Your Move"

No, I meant their own show, as in star. Hello, Larry as an example. I barely remember that show...he was a DJ, as I recall, and the sets were pretty minimalist. Think he was a single father, or some such thing.

The other two were a hspital comedy starring the actor who played Trap, and You Can't Take It With You, about an older couple, starring Col/ Potter.

Oh. "House Calls", which was based on the movie Walter Matthau. I watched that one, too. It's not burned into my conscious like Hello Larry, though.

I remember one of the Harlem Globetrotters was on it, too (Meadowlark Lemmon, I believe).

There was an episode where Larry learned a valuable lesson about blind people. The blind guy had a cane that folded up so he could put it into his pocket.

Weird. I thought that was the name, but then I was thinking" Why would it be called House Calls when it's in a hospital?" So I was trying to rthink of variants.
