    I see that the leading vote in the poll is Lakers superteam that flopped against the All-Around B+ team of the Pistons. Of course Payton and Malone were way past their primes but still, not sure I could ever vote this one.

    Let's just compare this team to the Rockets super squad:

    Starters:
    P.G. - Maloney vs. Payton = Lakers (BIG TIME!)
    S.G. - Drexler vs. Bryant = Tie
    S.F. - Elie vs. B. Russell = Rockets
    P.F. - Barkley vs. Malone = Tie
    ..C. - Olajuwon vs. O'neal = Rockets

    Bench

    P.G. - Price vs. Fisher = Lakers
    S.G. - E. Johnson vs. Rush = Rockets
    S.F. - Bullard vs. D. George = Rockets
    P.F. - Harrington vs. L. Walton = Tie
    ..C. - Willis vs. Grant = Rockets

    I give a slight edge to the Rockets but this is a battle royal! Rockets get annihilated at the PG position though which very well could give that Lakers squad the edge to win it all.

    Parish was on that Jordan Bulls team with Rodman. They were even walking around claiming they had 3 Hall of Famers because of Parish, which was technically true, but pretty misleading.

    But for this poll?

    Yeah they would destroy.

    The only knock there is that unfortunately they never had a real test in the Finals. Or the playoffs for that matter.

    That Utah team was good for sure, but there is a reason why Jordan said he wished he could have played the Rockets in the finals.

    Sorry, didn't see it if there was one. Got the idea from some dude at Insidehoops who claimed the current Nyets were possibly the best team ever put together. (And not much news comin thru so I put it in garm).
