That's all assuming that kobe doesn't cry about how his team doesn't have good players around him, even though he does and than decides not to play. I for one can't wait to see the rockets go into staples and blow the lakers out!

It would have to be berry or one of the other short white boys sitting on the bench that year, Sura was on the wing that passed the ball the Tmac on that play.

Any video with T-mac going for 13 in 33 is the best video. It tops any dunk highlight reel that he has put out. Almost every All-Star calibur player in the NBA has a dunkfest reel, very few if any others have something that compares to that night.

My favorite video is the Remember the Name T-Mac video.

The first time I saw it, it gave me goosebumps. This was following the Mav's series after which everyone was proclaiming T-Mac the new Michael Jordan(And the Rockets' HUGE signings of Stromile Swift and Derek Anderson...I thought we were loaded). This is the T-Mac we all wish we could see again. He attacked the basket, and hit his impossible jumpshots at a superstar clip. His numbers are similar to those of this year, but watching him that year was totally different than watching him this year. That year, I felt like I was watching a guy just entering his prime, while this past year I felt like I was watching a guy just hanging on to his former self.

The guy really is the most talented player in the league, bar none. If it weren't for his back and the state of mind it puts him in, I think we'd be talking about one of the top 5-10 players of all time.

    Forgot the video... http://youtube.com/watch?v=rhQ-57bLeKQ

Man, I miss that team. They ran every chance they got, and still played JVG defense. If Bobby Sura had been healthy either that year or this past year, I think we'd already have another ring.

T-Mac imo was the best player in the league during his Magic days. Watch it come back with an offensive mastermind like Adelman designing plays specifically for McGrady.

exactly. people do not understand how much the back plays a part of his game. the way he elevates for jumpers. the way he needs it for his first step (which WAS the quickest in the L). and things like that.

and i'm still amazed at how much he recovered to play at the level he played last yr.

i just hope he'll regain some more of his quickness and athleticism next yr and we might see that dallas tmac again.

He didnt lose he's quickness. he was just adapting to the offense we were running under gundy. it was designed to focus the offense around yao. hence the slower pace.

We will still play halfcourt offense(which i believe yao will be a monster in)but it will alot more movement off the ball and alot of easier shots will result for tracy.

^ hopefully tracy will put that type of effort on D (though that would have been fouls w/ the hand-check rules, which they didn't call on giricek).

    he needs that mentality.
