Tobasco is OK but nothing tops Texas Pete. You can put it on potato chips, french fries, any kind of meat, mix it into mac n cheese, ontop of eggs, with bacon, you name it and you can just about put it on it.

Funny thing is, people up in NC are very fond of it. Come down here to Texas and NO ONE has ever heard of it. Although it is made in Winston-Salem, NC.... has the name Texas Pete though. Marketing ploy. Go figure.

Currently been using Frank's Red Hot, but I've heard about Texas Pete from friends. I might have to give it a try next time.

    This is the correct answer.

I've never heard of Texas Pete. And most all the Cajun stuff is really good. For my money, nothing beats Sriracha. I actually pumped my fist in the air when I found it up here yesterday in Oklahoma.

This is what I'm using now (Costa Rican) and it's very good and very hot. I also really enjoyed some hot sauce from Belize a while back:

But, yes, Sriracha is really, really good...
