Anyone here a former Starbucks employee? I've always wondered what the difference was between the Frappuccinos and the 'Lite' Frappuccinos. Cause I can't taste a difference, and who knows, maybe I'm just a mindless consumer w**** who was fooled into thinking I was saving calories.
Just ordered a Mocha Frapaccino because of the Yao spotting thread, well, I already had this before, but I just don't know the name of it. Anyway, too sweet for me, I will try something new next time, it must be hot.
I love the Green Tea Frappucinos. Unfortunately they seem to appear and disappear from the menu and are mainly available in summertime. This year's version has blackberry stuff on it/ in it. (fine, as long as I get my radioactive-looking foaming green concoction with the addictive taste) Of course, I can't afford it often in terms of calories or expense. I drink them on occasion when I need to make myself feel better or I'm taking a long road trip. When I just need to stay awake, a Venti regular coffee and doctor it with whatever is sitting out on the table (milk, sweeteners, that powder stuff). Wakes you up, then you put the rest in the refrigerator for iced coffee that will wake you up the next day.
America is a country of achievers... and the haters who hate these achievers. Starbucks get popular and big? Hate em. Walmart sell everything you ever need, under one roof... and for cheap? Hate em. Google offering too many cool web apps... for free? Hate em.
i am, but sorry, they didn't have the lite ones when i was there. From what i've heard, the lite ones actually taste a hell of a lot different... so if you've only had it once or something, maybe they gave you the regular thing? as for this thread, iced vanilla latte. (decaf and soy for me)
Venti Americano with extra room for cream, add my own cinnimon, two equal and one sweet and lo. I think god for every Starbucks on the planet and dream of a day when every man woman and child will just have their own intravenous Starbucks system installed at birth.
I typically get a venti non-fat no-whip mocha. In fact, I'll be right back. Perfect day for a nice cup of coffee.
i agree with you. but not everyone hates the things you listed because they are "cool" starbucks and walmart could be hated because they put there competition out of business. and then there isnt as much competition which leads you to wanting coffee or a new car battery and going to the place on the corner. because there freaking everywhere. pretty soon (pretty much already) everywhere you go will start looking identical. really its been like that since starting in the mid 90s but its only getting worse.
