Raging Bull was seeded so low because it was a crap movie. No not really. It didn't slay at the box office. Plus seedings don't matter in a tourney like this. At all. We could do another one with TOTALLY random seedings and it would come out very similarly.

Okay, I don't have a problem (unlike many people around here) admitting I am wrong about something. Personally, I don't think that is a good way of doing seedings for something like this because it shafts the older movies in favor of stuff like "The Water Boy" for example. But that was your methodology and you explained it, so I can't complain.
Well there is never a perfect way. I figured the # of nominations was much better than just random seeding at my own whim. If I did that, Field of Dreams and Bull Durham might not have even made the tournament.
