Yeah, Royals Ego knows of what he speaks. Ford added another 100 HP to the old V6 engines, starting with the 2011s. Supposedly the first engine to get over 300 HP (I think 305) at the same time as getting 30+ miles per gallon highway--though I think the MPG is only for the automatic. The V6 is no longer a "chick car," whatever that entails.

Needless to say, I've been thinking about buying a Mustang GT. That said, I've driven the 2012 V6: it has plenty of pick-up, and in addition to being 10K+ less initially, it might be worthwhile just to save on gas.

Ooooh burn. Let me put it to you this way. You are running what, 11's in a car with a turbo and with slicks or DR's? I was running mid 12's in a full size truck on street tires.

Yeah, I'm drunk. Where/WHY did Audi even come into this?

BTW- I don't own straight slicks, street slicks only. You got the cash, I got the time.:)

Stop posting. You are embarrassing yourself, Mr. Auto-transmission.

Go practice some heal&toe and double-clutch technique using your auto shift.

Sucks I can't rape your AUTO lil' truck. So cute!

I sold that truck quite a while ago. I don't really like to drive outmoded models (350z)

    Incorrect.

I said front wheel drive is not.

There is more to a sports car than straight line speed. There is handling, cornering, braking.

A rear wheel drive and a 4 wheel drive sports car handle well and with a manual transmission you have more control. And depending on the skills of a driver, there will be less of a transmission lag.

    I am done here.

Do you even know what you're posting or arguing about right now? Who's not making sense?

    Just, wow.

I have been lurking and seems that most guys have forged internals after 400-450hp. How is that you have a stock block with 554, do tell the details?

This is hilarious. Your 20 minutes of lurking, my 3 years of building.

I race every other weekend in Baytown.

I show my car at Cars and Coffee meets in midtown right down the road from me. Google it.

I also show my car, when not running, in Kemah at the Home Depot right past the 146 Bridge.

You're more than welcome to stop by anytime. I have zero reason to lie about a friggin' 350Z. I could own something way more "Upscale" or "Sophisticated" but I love my '08 HR TT Z. Sorry you got your ass handed to you in this thread, I hope your butt lips heal, and props on ruining the OP's thread with your big head.

    Again.
