that girl is so ugly. I cannot believe anyone finds her attractive, let alone how she got on TV in the first place. If it ever comes down to girls being the reason I watch a show, it's gotta be that other WB piece of crap, Charmed.
It probably isn't the best show on TV but due to my schedule and other things I like to do the only show I must see when it comes on is Boomtown.
There used to be a show back in the '80s/early '90s called "Degrassi Jr. High" and later, "Degrassi High." It dealt with everything from drugs to homosexuality to teenage pregnancy, and everything else in between. The characters all had personality, and they looked like real kids! It was a Canadian show, so it probably wasn't aired much in the US. It was a fantastic program, though.
I thought that was "You Can't Do That on Television"!! I remember watching and liking that show. It was on PBS at different times, so I never could remember to watchi it.
My dad forbid my sister and I from watching that show. He thought it taught very bad values to children. So we had to sneak around him to watch it. It sucked because it came on TV at 6:30pm, just when my dad was getting home. Luckily my mom was always in the kitchen cooking at that time. So we only got to watch about 10 minutes of each show. Overly strict parents suck!
For some reason, I don't remember "You Can't Do That on Television!!" dealing with drugs and teenage pregnancy. I only have vague recollections of YCDTOT. People used to get slime poured on their head and stuff.
Hmmm. So that explains my childhood... When I was younger, I used to be scared to utter the words "I don't know" or "water" for fear of the consequences...
that show was so canadian. and i mean that with no disrespect...i watched that show! not as canadian as "hanging in", though.
Alias is one of the best shows on. My girlfriend made me sit down and watch the first couple episodes (she downloaded them) and I was hooked. Got two other people hooked on it the same way. Otherwise, all I really watch is the Rockets. SO... 1) Alias 2) Rockets broadcasts (when they pass) 3) TNG / DS9 Not necessarily in that order.
In no particular order: Curb Your Enthusiasm The Simpsons Frasier Scrubs ER NYPD Blue 24 (just started the 2nd season in Aus) Arli$$
Well, if we are gonna start naming multiple shows. Chappelle's Show (I'm rich biatch!!!) South Park Scrubs These are shows that are part of Adult Swim: Futurama (reruns every school night on cartoon network) Home Movies Lupin the 3rd Inuyasha Cowboy Bebop Sea Lab 2021 Aqua Teen Hunger Force Harvey Birdman The Venture Bros. (New show that makes fun of Johny Quest) I missed too much of 24 this season, so I'm gonna have to get the 2nd box set. Has this one been better than the first season? Just found out that we get FX in college station, so I'm gonna start checking out the Shield.
no one has mentioned "everybody loves raymond" yet??? come on, that show is comedy gold. i swear i have never seen a show use uncomfortable situations to get laughs as well as this show. you just know the characters so well and they set up the situations so well that you can get like 30 seconds of laughter out of the audience w/o a line being uttered. and sometimes after that there might only be one line and then another 30 seconds. it's amazing. as for my favorite shows er (about 4 or 5 years running now) everybody loves raymond scrubs (if this show doesn't just fall off for no reason it should have a solid 4 to 5 year run coming up) sopranos (all the eps are being replayed, nice) i also watch king of queens, yes dear, still standing (that whole damn cbs monday lineup), friends, will and grace, and rockets games
Hlaven't you ever watched Ed? Warren Cheswick is a god. I love that gaggle of high-schoolers that they feature weekly on that show. Not one of them is a beautiful person-- except Jessica Martel.. and Cheswick stopped chasing her. Have you seen the heavy kid? He's lost a lot of weight. He is a great talent. He and Warren are a funny pair.
I had a hard time watching that show the first season or so whenever Warren was on. Now that the character's calmed down a bit, I can handle him. I haven't watched in a few weeks...has the big dude come back from his stomach stapling yet? He had it done in real life.
Yeah, he mentioned that he lost 96 pounds, or as he put it on the show, "...in other words, I lost you, Warren."
