Two and Half Men and The Big Bang Theory are my favorites right nows. Jim Parsons does a great job and I think that Kaley chick is pretty hot IMO. Just something about her...
Southland Mad Men (Don Draper is the coolest Mofo on TV) I have to catch the First 48, hear nothing but good things
The First 48 is good but I miss some of the detectives they had in the beginning with their Miami team.
i started the series last month and finally got caught up at 7:58pm last night, so i'm now behind again. but it looks great. "hey, i think i defecated on that woman in palm springs..."
Californication and Lights Out are my two addictions at the moment (along with Jersey Shore, but we won't talk about that right now).
I lot of those shows you guys mentioned are pretty. I dont know if you guys have mentioned Justified of FX, but it's a pretty good show. It definitely should be an honorable mention.
Californication is completely enjoyable, but probably seems better than it is because most networks aren't allowed to show this content. I also think some of the acting/dialogue is "lazy" enough that it would be brutalized if it were a network or even basic cable show. I actually think it's just a stylized, fictional version of that "Still Single" reality show they did for a couple of years.
I remember the scene in the pilot when the fat skinheads had just robbed the bank and started yelling at the top of their lungs and they started playing some of that banjo score, fell in love with the show at that moment. My second favorite moment came during the season two premiere: "Do you know how a fire-arm works?"
i just watched a girl who is addicted to eating toilet paper. i thought i could just watch it, but it really creeps me out.
