24, no doubt about it, one of the greatest shows ever, greatest characters ever, the real-time concept is great and unique also. Never missed an episode yet.

All three favorites of mine. Can't believe the 2nd season of Rome is about to start! Really like Entourage and most of the other offerings from HBO. Big Love is a trip. I love the intro for that, and most of HBO's series. Don't know how they do it!

I guess Im pretty out of touch with what is popular.

I found The Office to be mildly amusing at best.
and most of the other ones either dont sound like something I would like or I tried to watch and didnt like.

except for House, Scrubs, 24, and the Animation block on FOX (FG, AD, and Simpsons)

and I Also dvr the Law and ORder CI/SVU ones and pick and choose the few I havent seen.

Dirty Jobs and Mythbusters on Discovery are dvr material for me also.

the rest of this stuff yall all rave over just isnt that funny to me.

Battlestar Galactica is hands-down the best drama on TV. People may be turned off/scared of the sci-fi element, but if you can get past that, it's just pure, great drama.

Heroes is good. The writing could be better.

The Office might be my favorite show. It might even crack my top 5 comedy TV shows of all time list.

South Park has been great lately. Family Guy and Drawn Together are also great, somewhat crass animated shows. Sadly, The Simpsons is tired for me.

I'm too busy to get sucked into 24 or Lost, which is why I've stayed away from them. I know from what I read that they are great.

I just rented the DVD's. Watched the mini-series last night. Well, i have 30 minutes left of it.

WOW. It is freaking amazing. Well acted. Great story. Great visuals. Good sound. One of the best things I've seen in a long long time.

I am a little concerned that the series will become a little too much about the drama and lose the sci-fi coolness....especially since you mentioned drama twice. But I've got all the seasons coming, too.

I don't know how I miss shows like these the first time around, but it's such a little treat when you can just rent them on Netflix. I didn't watch the first 3 seasons of The Office, either, and just got caught up.

    It's always Sunny in Philidelphia...

I only caught the last season so I've been missing out...This show is F'n hilarious on sooo many levels...

    Other shows that are good:

    -Extras
    -Rescue Me

I enjoy watching Lost, 24, Entourage, but are they the best, probably not...The first couple of seasons, yes...

The first 2 seasons were much better. Believe it or not, but it actually lost some of the edginess it had.

i haven't read through all four pages, so im sure you have gotten this recommendation by now but...

    the wire.

this show basically ruined tv for me because nothing else is even close. i just bought a book on the making of the show. it is that good. just trust me man.

the wire. nothing else is even worth it if youre looking for something to watch.
