Best Show on Television?

The two consistenly excellent shows on TV right now are...

The Office and Veronica Mars.

 

I asked friends/family to pick up the first 4 seasons for my upcoming birthday, and they saved money too.

 

Yep. The ratings were also low due to the show being moved around what seemed like EVERY WEEK. I was lucky enough to catch one episode randomly after reading all the critical acclaim and was immediately sold on buying the DVDs.

Apparently Showtime wanted to pick up Arrested Development but the creator Mitchell Hurwitz decided now to go through with it.

An uncensored AD would have pwned all.

I might get lynched here, but I started watching "Ugly Betty" and it's a pretty good show. Good stories and Becki Newton is friggin hot...

oooh I forgot all about Ugly Betty.. I don't watch it when it airs thought, I watch it on the ABC website at work on Friday morning.

It's cheesy at times, but there is also some good writing in it as well.

I watched season 1 of The Wire, but couldn't get into it. Shield is much better, IMO.
